The turret bustle is a total weak spot on this tank. You see the initial cook off followed by the secondary one. So there is not enough separation of the
bustle from the interior of the turret.

Bullshit. At least in the case of the Leopard 2. There are Leopard 2A6 being used in Ukraine. Still tanks are stripped out of communication. Look how tank commanders are using fucking walkie-talkies... I am not sure what else is stripped.
Anyways, for ATGMs, mines, drones and Krasnopols it doesn't matter.

A hit at that angle would have pierced the blast door, sending a lethal jet of flame that would burn everyone in the fighting compartment. I take that as meaning the Americans are stripping their Abrams tanks they are sending (they are sending old models with no new upgrades.. the Americans themselves have essentially admitted this...), and they stripped them because they fear them being compromised after capture the way the Leos were compromised after they were captured. The leopards sent to battle probably didn't have their top secret communications and battle management systems included or the latest ammo, but I doubt they removed linings and armour layers.
Not that Russia has a lot to learn from western armour it s more about their internal layout to work out where best to shoot them and with what.

US M1 Abrams was penetrated frontally by the RPG-29 in Iraq. Back then the US were crying that the Russians had sold the Iraqis the Kornet, breaking UN weapons sales sanctions, and that was why they were being able to penetrate the tank.
For reference the RPG-29 is supposed to be able to penetrate 750 of RHA while the Kornet can penetrate over 1300 of RHA. And the RPG-29 penetrated this precious "US only" M1 with super duper depleted uranium armor package.

Designed to destroy air attack and reconnaissance weapons (including aircraft made using stealth technology) and any other air targets in conditions of intense fire and electronic countermeasures. The system is capable of hitting aircraft and cruise missiles at a range from 3 km to 400 km, and ballistic targets flying at speeds of up to 4.8 km/s at a range of up to 60 km and at an altitude of up to 30 km.
The target detection range is up to 600 km, the speed of targets hit is up to 17.3 thousand km/h, the number of simultaneously fired targets is up to 36 (up to six with one air defense system), the number of simultaneously guided missiles is 72."
