Post  Karl Haushofer Fri May 10, 2024 12:44 pm

One thing that I have thought for a long time is that why do the Ukrainians allow themselves to be slaughtered like this?

Do they actually think it is worth sacrificing an entire generation just to keep Russia out? Do they actually WANT to fight Russia until the last Ukrainian?

Or are they being unwillingly sent to die? If yes, then why aren't they able to revolt against the regime? Are they not able to organize? Why isn't Russia more actively helping underground partisans in Ukraine? Or do these partisan groups even exist?

My uneducated guess is that the current nationalist regime  in Ukraine is a well-organized and western-supported minority, while the majority of Ukrainians are apathetic and unorganized.

A well-organized minority can rule over an entire country even if they represent just 5% of the population, if the rest of the country does not care and is apathetic. It happened in 1917 in Russia with the Bolsheviks. This is the reason why I find it difficult to understand why Russia refuses to kill the representatives of Ukrainian regime. Why kill thousands of conscripts instead of cutting the head of the monster.

    Kharkov offensive begun

Recon in force/DRG is clearing the border area

The sanitation zone is being enforced

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡The first prisoners appeared on the border, a dozen and a half soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces surrendered to our forces, unable to withstand the blow. Several dozen dead soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, killed in a shooting battle, how many Ukrainians were destroyed by artillery and aviation is still unknown.

For example, ODAB 1500, which flew straight down the Ukrainian road in Volchansk at about one in the morning, probably evaporated almost everyone who was at this facility.

    ----

Seems RU has 150k troops to clear out the north zone

Expect south donetsk to run concurrently to Kharkov

Two SBUshniks from Zelensky's inner circle (belonging to the bodyguard posse) were arrested just the other day for allegedly plotting an assassination.

Zelensky "relieved" general Zalushny of all duties shortly afterwards as well. Rumors of the latter being a potential coupist have circulated for a good while now.

So if that's indicative of anything...

Anyway, some form of Kharkov ops have started, confirmed by all parties. Interesting.

The Russians haven't committed the forces needed to realistically pressure the city itself, far from it, but it could be a start of sorts. If/when Kharkov becomes the focus, what "Battle of Kharkov" in its 100+ year old series would that be? 8th, 9th?

Initial phase is DRG to recon defenses

    Then more FABS and rockets

The main forces will cross once the defenses have been sufficiently destroyed

But every section is manned by 120-140k troops , N grouping has a similar number

Combined with fire at warehouse in Staffordshire, UK one must ask does the EU have any industry left?

Russian forces were also busy in America it seems as Wichita, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri municipal websites were shut down by Russian hackers according to the FBI. Will these cities be able to function or will the United States collapse as its cities' websites collapse for longer and longer periods
I can only conclude that the hacking will cause most of the United States to look like Scranton PA or Gary, Indiana soon and the USA will soon be a lawless hellscape in places like East St. Louis, Detroit, Cleveland, South Chicago, Oakland, and east LA

Some of you might have noticed over the past couple weeks that the Russian Ministry of Defense have renamed (again) the front lines:

Western Group - mostly troops of the Moscow and Leningrad Military Districts
Southern Group - mostly from the Southern Military District; 8th Army, 2nd and 3rd Corps
Central Group - mostly from the Central Military District plus the 1st Corps from the Southern Military District
Eastern Group - mostly troops from the Eastern Military District
Dnieper Group - mostly from the Southern Military District; 18th,49th and 58th Army plus 22nd and 40th Corps

Thanks for the update Karl... attacking another refinery against Bidens orders... sounds like an opportunity for Putin to limit exports and put pressure on the price of various fuels the US relies on to keep its economy going...

One thing that I have thought for a long time is that why do the Ukrainians allow themselves to be slaughtered like this?

When it is happening to someone else it is easy to keep chanting hate and pretending it is all Putins fault... there would be peace if it was not for Putin...

After 3 years now they have no excuse for not understanding what is happening... when someone will give you weapons and ammo and money to keep fighting against something you can't beat... but wont openly send their own men to die... well they are not friends... they are clearly using you.

And it shouldn't be a surprise... look at the so called western allies... they delayed the D Day invasion till 1944 when the result of the war had been decided...

If they had left it to 45 they would have met the Russians on the English Channel.

They used lend lease to pretend they were helping but they were just encouraging the Soviets to bleed their country of men against the Germans to weaken both sides...

    Nothing changes.

Do they actually think it is worth sacrificing an entire generation just to keep Russia out? Do they actually WANT to fight Russia until the last Ukrainian?

Even if they thought about it... what difference would it make... no one is asking them... they get no opportunity to vote the current guy out and vote in someone who will be honest and talk.

Why isn't Russia more actively helping underground partisans in Ukraine? Or do these partisan groups even exist?

I rather suspect they communicated to leaders of cities and towns in the Ukraine in the hope they could do what they did in Manchuria and negotiate the surrender of the local enemy military to avoid bloodshed. Clearly didn't work in Ukraine... wonder if they would make the same decision now given the choice.

My uneducated guess is that the current nationalist regime in Ukraine is a well-organized and western-supported minority, while the majority of Ukrainians are apathetic and unorganized.

Not only that, but since 2014 they have been removing anyone with any sympathy for Russia or the Russian language from any positions of power or authority and replacing them with their nazi goons who will of course be on the look out for anyone who says anything nice about Russia or Russians... they will likely have regular purges of such people to keep the apathetic in line.

Most of the conscripts sent to the front line will have come from the South and East of the country while the north and the west will likely have the most running to the west or avoiding duty.

Of course those in the north and the west will jealously guard their positions to avoid being sent to the front because they no doubt have learned how to earn good money by carrying around a rifle and picking young men off the street to go to the front... $500 to not take my boy... sure...

A well-organized minority can rule over an entire country even if they represent just 5% of the population, if the rest of the country does not care and is apathetic.

That is what colonialism is... take the disaffected underlings in a society and put them in power... you can rely on them to have no mercy for the masses who ignored their plight all these centuries and they retain power because of you so they will be loyal and happily sacrifice the population of their own country to keep you happy and stay in power.

This is the reason why I find it difficult to understand why Russia refuses to kill the representatives of Ukrainian regime. Why kill thousands of conscripts instead of cutting the head of the monster.

The apathetic millions are part of the problem if they remain apathetic.

And killing the regime is not as easy as you suggest... it took the US DECADES to get Saddam and quite a long time to get Osama bin Laden... and they never got Castro or Assad.

Besides, he is just the figurehead doing what he is told... kill him and he will be replaced... they are not going to replace him with some pro Putin guy that can be trusted so why bother?

Especially when they are so incompetent...

No real surprise, but not important for Russia apart from showing they are collapsing... anyone the SBU put forward to replace a newly dead Zelensky is not going to be anyone Russia could trust to negotiate anything at all.

There are more than 50 for sure.

The current daily KIA is 1000+ and the ratio is more than 10:1 in favour of the Russians. Just imagine the total carnage when these guys finally make it to the front!

Deniper River is one side of the fabric . The other side of the fabric are Russian lines . You start sewing together , where two pieces of fabric are closest . Why ? Well if you start stiching together where fabric are far apart , then you may end up with two much fabric on one side and run short of fabric at the end . Plus the thread or fabric may break , in the middle , as too much force needed to bring pieces together . Ask any tailor !

It is just like arguing with a rock - they share the IQ level.
No country in EU is allowed to extradite a person without a court decision.
It is not only part of the UN human rights fundamental chart but against the core of the EU human rights.
Only crimes that were considered as such by the both EU and an asking country at the same time can be a ground for the procedure.
Seeking asylum is a fundamental law of any human on the planet, according to the UN Human Rights Chart. Undeniable. One can't be stripped of it.
There are no laws making it possible to collect/custody of people on the basis of their age, sex, and citizenship - because it is what would be needed for the process.
There are no laws for "preventive detention" - if any EU member state would do that, they would be toasted in front pf EU human rights court procedure.
Every single Ukrainian detained, would simply sue them and win at any court.
This is why EU member states increase the pressure put on them.
Cancels social benefits, stops providing financial assistance, or even finance relocating them back to Ukraine.

Only in Poland, more that 5000 apartments were purchased by the Ukrainian refugees using a subsidized mortgage that was offered to them.
In a real serious circumstances, those will apply for asylum status, or apply for citizenship, or apply for a citizenship of Russia/Belarus.
It is nothing other than the barking of lapdogs.

Karl Haushofer wrote:One thing that I have thought for a long time is that why do the Ukrainians allow themselves to be slaughtered like this?

The only Ukrainians with any guts are the Nazis. This explains 80% of everything that's going on.

There are many anti-Zelensky and anti-Bandera Ukrainians in fact. They're just mostly outside the Ukraine by now, that's all.

Well there is a small core of informers in the Ukraine that feeds Russia intel of course. Especially in large Russian-speaking cities such as Odessa and Kharkov.

5 villages taken in one day, and lots of POWs. Videos of UA troops fleeing. Interesting.

His head is cracked already Laughing

However I can suggest that those two should do "the right thing". They should volunteer as the spearheads in one of the SS brigades.
With those two they will surely turn the tide.

"They are in a panic”: the US named two cities with which Ukraine will part ways, 05.10.2024.

Johnson: Russia won't stop until it reaches Kyiv and Odessa.

MOSCOW, May 10 – RIA Novosti. Russian troops will not stop until they reach Kiev and Odessa, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said on the YouTube channel Redacted.

"They are moving forward, and now it is gaining momentum, like a huge stone rolling down a mountain. They will not stop until they reach Kyiv and Odessa," he said.

As the analyst noted, Russian troops are currently advancing along the entire front line and occupy at least one village per day.

“The West is in panic, it has no idea what to do,” he concluded.

Earlier, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Syrsky, complained about the difficult situation of the Ukrainian troops on the front line. According to him, Russia has a significant advantage and is actively attacking along the entire line of contact, which leads to tactical successes.
