Belousov heading MOD - were about to get Mig35 and T14
Su75 to the garbage
It's great that procurement will switch from export driven to supply side
Why depend on India or China for things Russia needs?
It's time to produce the mig35 , and to produce tanks, it's time for MOD officials to be monitored via an AI digital tracking system
Every penny is going to be accounted for
Oh and zvezda is about to get a kick in the ass

Not many other places at his level that wouldn't be a demotion. So jail maybe if he is caught up in the MoD corruption enquiry?

Your smoking good
Belousov will produce the things that haven't been made because sukhoi was taking the piss and being given contracts for redundant projects like su75
He will also stop zvezda and other companies who think they can cheat the military for money
This guy is a technocrat, like Mishustin they modernize systems
Mishustin is basically implementing a nationwide surveillance system based off his tax payment system
Mysterious drydock sabotage, welding fires burning down whole ships, and other industry shenanigans is coming to an end

Karl Haushofer wrote:The downside of Putin's extreme cautiousness and restraint is that Ukraine can murder any amount of Russian civilians while knowing that Russia will not respond in kind.
It happened in Moscow theater terror attack (which Ukraine was behind) and it happened today in Belgorod.
If Ukraine knows that Russia would respond with force they would think twice and likely opt not to commit acts of terror.
Putin is an ethnic Ukrainian.
He is Ukraine's biggest secret supporter.

The guy is a mathematician ,everything on spreadsheets
Shit is really going to change
The pot belly escapade has come to an end:
Peskov explained Putin's decision to propose a civilian official for the post of head of the Russian Ministry of Defense by the need to introduce innovations
According to the president's press secretary, it is important to fit the economy of the power bloc into the country's economy so that it corresponds to the dynamics of the moment.
Peskov added that this appointment will not change the “system of coordinates in the military component of the department,” since the head of the General Staff

Innovation means AI tracking of every penny in digital ledgers

Mishustin's tax systems rooted out shitloads of petty corruption and off the books crap, and massively raised govt revenues without changing the rates.

Shoigu will continue to work in the field that he knows from the inside, he will oversee the work of the MTC Federal Service - Peskov
Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov will continue his activities - Peskov
Putin dismissed Patrushev from the post of Secretary of the Russian Security Council, the Kremlin reports.
Shoigu appointed Secretary of the Russian Security Council - Putin’s decree

Peskov on the nomination of Belousov as a candidate for Minister of Defense :
Today, the one who wins on the battlefield is the one who is more open to innovation, more open to the most rapid implementation . And therefore, it is natural that at the current stage the president decided that the Ministry of Defense should be headed by a civilian - and this is not just a civilian, but a person who very successfully headed the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia , who for a long time was the assistant to the president on economic issues, and also in the previous cabinet of ministers he was the first deputy chairman of the government.
The Ministry of Defense must be absolutely open to innovation, to introduce all advanced ideas, to create conditions for economic competitiveness - that’s why the president chose the candidacy of Andrei Removich Belousov.
That is the point
The military has been getting fucked by corrupt scum in Zvezda , Sukhoi/OAC, Severnaya Verf
Sukhoi is getting away with murder basically, reselling PESA radars as innovation and a single engine su57 as something needed
Russia needs Phazotron to pump AESA radars , mig 35 galore, instead of enabling scum from sukhoi heading OAC to focus on useless junk like su75
Russia needs project 22800 finished Years ago, and not useless ships like 22160 approved by corrupt officials using paper ledgers
Kuznetsov has a fucking crane destroy the landing deck and then scum from northern shipyard sunk the drydock
They spent a decade finding out that admiralty shipyard designed project 677 that couldn't float
All of this needs AI monitoring like mishustin does
And anyone caught is going to prison, Ivanov is just the first open case
But the Russian military is going to get what it needs
200-300 fighter jets, T14 armata, corvettes and frigates pumped, real submarines, and so on
Not officials who get ripped off on contracts to skim off the top

President Putin's decision is difficult - it seems like there is a war going on, but it is human: the lives of soldiers matter if you are a true leader of the country.

You really consider a coincidence the amount of sabotage and useless projects that got approved by MOD?
Why was an unarmed patrol vessel needed if a big war was coming?
What about a sunk drydock and a destroyed deck? All just coincidence?
Maybe severnaya just coincidentally made more off the repairs
Or how about those 800 ton little ships missing engines for 10 years now?
Or a diesel electric submarine that can't submerge?
It's all just coincidence?
It's not, and that's why a technocrat just got appointed to clean house

Most positions of the Ministry of Defence is held by a civilian. They just take advice from military high command who have experience mixed with their knowledge of society as a whole and industry.
This is in essence cleaning up long standing issues.
Head of the MoD is one thing, being now a member of the Security Council is another - this is a huge step up for Shoigu. Security Council is really the root of the power in Russia next to the President himself.
