Our victory will be the answer for Sevastopol, by Victoria Nikiforova for RiaNovosti. 06.24.2024.

On Saturday we celebrated the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War, and on Sunday, just after noon, the hero city of Sevastopol was attacked by NATO cruise missiles with cluster munitions.

Cluster munitions are a terrible thing in themselves; in 2008 they were banned by a special convention. Their device allows you to wound and kill the maximum number of enemy personnel. But here they were not hitting the enemy.

On Sunday, Trinity Sunday, Sevastopol residents and tourists with their entire families vacationed in Uchkuevka - this is the most beautiful beach near Sevastopol. NATO ATACMS missiles flew at ordinary civilians - at women who wanted to walk on the beach with a new beautiful swimsuit, at boys and girls who splashed water and built sand castles. For our people, for civilians.

Our air defense managed to shoot down all five missiles, but fragments of the fifth one fell on the beach. The result is a tragedy. More than one hundred and forty people were injured, including twenty-seven children. Four people died, including two children, the youngest boy was only two years old. Many children and adults are in intensive care at the time of writing. There is mourning in Sevastopol on Monday.

The complete bastards from Kiev signed their own death warrant on Sunday, there is no doubt that sooner or later they will be found and eliminated - our special services have extensive experience in eliminating terrorists. A more difficult question is with the organizers of the terrorist attack, gentlemen from overseas. They combine perverted cruelty with pathological cowardice and are pre-loaded with excuses.

American drones are constantly flying in the skies over the Black Sea . On Sunday, according to Flightradar, Global Hawk began duty at 9 a.m. We have no doubt that he was gathering intelligence to organize the attack. "And you prove it!" - they tell us from the other side.

The targeting of ATACMS missiles is carried out by the US military, which receives information from its satellites and drones. “No, it’s not us, it’s the Ukrainians,” the former partners grimace.

Attacks on the Russian rear and massacres of civilians are openly advertised by American military experts as a good strategy for winning the war. We have written a lot about this new military concept of theirs. But no, officially Washington is not involved; at the highest level they say that they provide weapons, but “do not support” strikes. And Secretary of Defense Austin spoke out in this spirit, and Tony Blinken bleated something like that, and Biden always repeats “if only there is no war.”

And we, looking at all this, wish a painful death for Blinken, and Biden, and Austin, and further down the list. These gentlemen have blood on their hands, they are our mortal enemies, and on Sunday, June 23rd, they made sure that we would never allow ourselves to retreat. We need a victory to arrange a second Nuremberg for all these bloody scoundrels , to call them to account for our dead.

The main danger for the whole world is that the Americans have never suffered from a full-fledged war on their territory. Bombs never fell on their heads, their mothers did not shield their children with their bodies from shrapnel. This allows them to behave like a monkey with a grenade - they have no idea what they will face in the event of a real conflict. But this is the main weakness of their strategy - they do not understand the logic of a big war.

Terrorist attacks can achieve only one thing from Russia - even greater unity of our people, an even greater focus on victory, an even greater desire to avenge the death and torment of our people. We already went through all this eighty years ago, then we bombed both Leningrad and Moscow , but we did not give up and quite soon, by historical standards, we destroyed the world’s evil in its lair. There's nothing you can do, you'll have to repeat it.

Our Ministry of Defence informed the United States that it considers them responsible for the terrorist attack in Sevastopol. According to our military, it was American specialists who introduced the flight missions into the missiles. Even the monkey with the grenade should finally understand what such a statement from a nuclear power means.

The public is wondering what our response will be. But in fact, the response was precisely a blow to Sevastopol. This is all that our enemies can do, unable to stop our advance at the front.

And the Russian army will continue to ask the enemy its questions - on Sunday morning it hit a training site for pilots and technicians of the Ukrainian Air Force with high-precision weapons , and a little later there were explosions in Kharkov and the city was left without electricity.

We will undoubtedly finish our new national war and celebrate the victory in the hero city of Sevastopol. And this time the scoundrels will not be able to sit overseas.

What have all the Dagastan posts here got to do with this the UKRAINE thread?

OK it may have occurred on the same day but that seems to have been a co-incidence or related to the religious day.

Nothing whatsoever to do with Ukraine, just clogging up this thread.

    **yawn**

Just the same platitudes and banalities again.

Hurr-durr, victory is at hand, that's why we must NOT retaliate!

Sorry but victory can still be a year away, or longer. Poland and Romania can be thrown into the mix. And NATO can step in. In fact this is probably them trying to goad Russia into taking the first 'step', and they will attempt ever greater outrages towards that, but even if Russia refuses to answer back NATO will eventually just take the initiative anyway.

The attack on Russian citizens at Sevastopol was carried out by the US.

Because all flight assignments for ATACMS are entered by US specialists based on the US's own satellite intelligence data.

Soon they will know if this attack in Dagestan was similar to Moscow theatre . If they were paid or not , but seems more related to Gaza , well with a few Christians thrown in for good measure ! The takfiri groups still are active in the ME but hold no territory . The attack on Crimea by missiles very serious , seems deliberate targeting of civilians by submunitions . Civilians may have to move out of the eastern regions until the Orcs destroyed and war ends . Will not be long now ! The retaliation against western weapons into Russia , may be already going on ! We my never know about it !

Any "Daesh/ISIS" operation is now a 100% CIA operation. This is evident from their pattern of attack. They are too busy going after designated foes of the US and don't
touch Israel in the middle of its genocidal attacks on Palestinian civilians. They even apologized to Israel when one of their members did stage an attack. This is just cringe.

Travesty. And all Kremlin did was give a warning.

I'm surprised the people's patience in Russia is this strong. Over here, even people would be screaming and in the streets demanding action.

The history of Russian governance is so bad that Russian people don't expect anything from their government and leaders.

In the West people have been used to hold the leadership of the country responsible of their actions (or lack of them). In Russia people and government are separate entities. Government wants to keep its power and wealth (at any cost) and people don't want the government to interfere with their lives.

The only reason Putin was so popular in Russia is because during the first 20 years of his rule Russia managed to dodge big catastrophies and setbacks, and external factors (such as oil price) were favorable for Russia.

This Ukraine war is Putin's first big test and he is failing miserably.

Damn many people injured and few killed in Crimea beach attack

From what I read five ATCMS were launched at Crimea, all 5 were shot down but the debris from one of the missiles landed on a civilian area with a cluster munition warhead.

    Doesn't make sense...

The drones are operating in international airspace.

    Putin is clueless...

Putin knows exactly what he is doing, which is why the nazi enemy has to resort to terrorist acts like these to try to stop him destroying them.

    Worst leader in Russian history.

HATO drones operating in international airspace being shot down would be something the US would want as an excuse to officially get involved... they could send HATO "peace keepers to Kiev" or Odessa or elsewhere...

I don't agree with Billy bait, but now Russia has to
    1) retaliate against Ukraine

Billy and Karl and several others will claim Putin will do nothing at all, when if you were paying attention he has the Russian military directly respond every single time and explains what is happening and why.

The encroachment on Kharkov for instance is because of crossborder attacks on Russia from those areas requiring Russia to create a buffer zone to protect their own territory.

The ongoing destruction of electricity grids and power stations in the Ukraine were also responses to terrorist attacks against the Crimean bridge and other such attacks.

Various serious attacks on HQs with HATO officers reportedly present were also enacted after attacks by Kiev.

    2) shot down American and NATO reconnessaince UAV over the black sea.

HATO platforms operating in international airspace would be difficult to justify with regards to shooting them down.

Their presence in the air should be an indicator that an attack is about to be launched in fact.

America enjoys mass shootings almost on a daily basis with zero prompting from the outside. How can you retaliate in a symmetrical way?

Ironically traditionally you kill a Kennedy, but he is about the only US politician making and sense that has no record of flip flopping like trump.

Some pictures with Kim Jong Un don’t do shit

The US has worked hard for a long time and even worked with Russia to stop NK from developing and creating nuclear weapons... now they have a security agreement with Russia along the lines of HATO so any attack by the US or the west on NK and Russia will step in and help them.

NK has a population of good workers, and Russia is short of workers at the moment. NK needs a reliable food supply and reliable energy and Russia can supply both, they can pump gas directly to their country. NK can earn transit fees from gas supplies going through NK to SK which makes supplying energy to both countries cheaper and easier... like Europe used to have it. Russia can ensure no famines in NK any more and they have destroyed the instrument in the UN that allowed the west to impose sanctions on them too.

I guess the response will be the same as always

    It’s open season in Russia

Why are you such a pussy sometimes?

The attack is ongoing and you complain that Putin hasn't done anything about it.

First they need to deal with the situation, and then they need to investigate it thoroughly and then you kick arse of whomever was responsible for sending idiots out to do their dirty work in the hope they can sit on the sidelines and be entertained with nothing pointing to them.

Deal to the monkeys and then track down the network that made it all possible and break it as high up as you can reach and monitor them in future for any more bullshit and break them before they can act again.

Another post by the usual suspects trying to inflame a nazi response from the only country on the planet actively fighting nazis...

Stirring up the pot trying to get them to do something stupid, or demand Putins head.

Keep barking... dividing Russia is what you are trying to achieve and it wont work.

The head of Ingushetia stated that today's events in Sevastopol and Dagestan are linked,

He is absolutely right.... investigate this properly and punish those responsible properly and fully within the law.

That is how you deal with it.

Horizontal escalation is acceptable at this point in time and should be carried out

Otherwise the open hunt on Russians will just keep escalating

It is funny that people complain and say Putin is doing nothing when events are actually happening... he has said that Russia can respond in kind but such actions are not instant and need to be planned and coordinated so the right people suffer and as few other people suffer as possible that are not involved.

Essentially these two attacks have given the green light to Putin to do things he warned them he was going to do.

When the damage from this becomes apparent in the west of course the west will openly blame Putin for all of it but in private channels they will likely beg to go back to the way things were and they will promise to stop escalating... or maybe they wont and then Putin can continue to respond.

It is funny... it is very much like the peace deal, I am glad they are not accepting his terms because it means their deal gets worse and worse.

I hope Putin and the enemies of the west get some good shots in before the west talks things down in private...

Yes, Russia under Putin is all talk, all posturing, but no action.

Russia under Putin is clear and rational and Putin has given specific warnings to the west about attacks on Russian territory leading to responses on Kievs territory.... AND BEYOND.

The west don't seem to understand that... please don't tell me you don't understand it.

And regarding him being all talk are you a fucking idiot?

The west said Kiev can attack anyone they please and in direct response to that Putin issued a warning that attacks on Russia will lead to responses towards Kiev and also to those that are supporting them... ie HATO. The fact that there has been no attacks on HATO yet is because they have only just crossed that red line, and the responses need to be carefully planned and executed.

Shooting down HATO drones over the black sea would be useless , they have an enormous swarm of satellites crossing the area every few minutes... shooting down drones would do nothing to prevent attacks... infact in many cases those drones are just monitoring activity and procedures to see what the Russians are doing to counter the ATACMS... they are likely formulating better tactics to make them more effective because that is all they have... it was their super weapon that Russia was supposed to be wrecked with.

They weren't even going to use cluster warheads were are officially banned and were going to be disposed of.

He still refuses to take out Ukrainian leadership. He still refuses to retaliate directly against the West.

    Are you stupid?

Putin knows he can crush the Ukraine... he knows because they are doing it.

Taking out an incompetent Ukrainian leadership might lead to competent Ukrainan leadership which is going to make defeating them HARDER.

Retaliating against the west brings the west into the conflict directly which means directly fighting the west... what fucking idiot wants to fight a war for three years and then think... hey this is just too easy... why don't I expand the number of countries I am openly fighting and make this all much much harder for myself.

Putin is smart. You guys are idiots.

That the West will give up after doing some damage to Russia? That the West will let Russia be?

All the whining and complaining about Putin not attacking HATO countries directly... where is your faggoty bitching and moaning about the west not openly attacking Russia.

If Putin is afraid, doesn't that also mean Biden and Sunak and Johnson and Sgt Shultz and Moron are all afraid too?

None of them want Ukraine in HATO and none seem to actually want to send HATO troops into the Ukraine... but it would be funny if they did.

JUST IN: Russian police under fire on the streets in Dagestan.

The west doing what it does normally... you of all people should be celebrating their stupidity because now Putin is obligated to respond in kind, but I am sure his plans and his weapons will be more effective.

Why did Russia even start the "SMO" if it was not ready?

Putin really didn't have a choice... this conflict was happening one way or another. 22nd of February was the attack date and enemy documents show their offensive was set to start on the 8 of march, so within a couple of weeks there was going to be war in the region... Putin started it to fight on his terms.

The Russian failure to react in a timely manner in fact dissolves the chances of de-escalation, not improves it.

The situation needs to end first and then investigation and analysis, and then planning a response and executing it so that the right people suffer.

This is what you get for not retaliating.

This is the CIA switching from using nazis as cannon fodder to stupid sects of Islam to do their dirty work.

Perhaps there needs to be some racial disharmony in the US, or perhaps some problems in Europe maybe.

How about some pro Assad Syrian refugees could hatch a plot to flood the channel tunnel or the London underground... there are so many groups the west has pissed off and so many juicy targets... the Olympics in Paris are coming up and both France and the Olympic committee have given Russia the middle finger... how about something happening there...

Russia is spoiled for choice and the thing is that Putin warned them about playing this game... it is a game Putin normally chooses not to play, but so is invasion and he played that when the west ignored warnings too.

Problem with Putin is that his restraint might allow the West to knock out Russia before Russia even throws the first punch.

Russia is a country not a person... the west has been giving it its best shot especially the last 10 years to hurt Russia and has only made Russia not only stronger and more independent, but also realise what a bunch of censored the west actually is and that the anti colonial party called BRICS is where Russias and the rest of the worlds future really lies.

You can also give the Kanaks of New Caledonia nice weapons too to shoot at French police the way they do in Dagestan

So many options and possibilities... the French blamed Russia for their colonies in Africa giving them the boot but the fact of the matter is that Russia was just open and honest and fair with these countries... something the French have never been, and those countries realised what bastards the Europeans are by their treatment of Russia and their treatment of China... the latter doing enormous good in Africa and around the world but not blowing their trumpet about it like the west do.

I agree Putin is not the guy who should be the head of state of Russia.

Isn't Russia lucky you don't get a vote on that.

Russia should already have been doing all that. And starting to do that now will impress no-one. Time is running out for Russia to make an impression.

It is perfectly respectable that Russia has not been doing that sort of shit despite the west accusing it of doing so all this time.

Now that they start doing it the west will understand the difference between Russia and Putin trying to be a friend or at least partner, and Russia and Putin being an actual enemy of the west that works against it and does it harm on purpose.

Ultimately, Russia has to do a no fly zone around the Black Sea closest to Crimea, shoot down all US Drones.

A grown up has entered the conversation...

A nofly zone would not be hard, they could just reveal information about western drones operating without beacons activated being a hazard to both military and civilian air traffic so until further notice the region is closed to all traffic because anything detected will be shot down.

Apparently this ATACMS attack on the beaches was done via a launcher on a dry cargo ship. So that means also going and attacking and sinking Ukraine's shipping vessels.

Handed to Russia on a plate... they are so stupid...

Russia needs to learn how to do that part first (hitting UAV's where no one dies) before attempting others. Because if the Putin government and military are too weak and incompetent to do that, then you can forget about the rest.

Putin has been very consistent and never reacts before all the facts are in and they have a good idea of who did what and why and when and where.

The response has to hurt the right people and hit the right pockets and still be sensible.

That stupid get together in Switzerland came out with three demands... free the prisoners on both sides in a big prisoner swap, the handing of the nuclear power station Russia controls to Kiev, and the free and uninhibited use of Black Sea ports for Kiev to keep food transport going.

Well the first is a joke because it is the Ukrainians that don't want to swap all prisoners... they don't have enough to swap to get all their guys and many of their guys likely wont want to go anyway.

The nuclear power plant is a dead issue, Russia is destroying their electricity grid so why hand back a power station with radioactive material they could use to make dirty bombs with when they get really desperate?

But the last issue is really amusing because it obviously means they are really hurting not being able to ship in weapons and goods via their Black Sea ports, so this attack from a ship in the Black Sea can be used as an excuse to simply sink every ship going to or coming from Ukrainian ports, which is going to be very damaging to Kiev. More than the damage they achieved.

It's too late for that. Yanukovich would have to control some territory in Ukraine for that.

He was mostly voted in by the regions that have joined the Russian Federation so he already does.

What level would that be? How many Russians need to die to "convince" Putin?

If Russia was losing 1,500 soldiers a day then it would be a problem, Russia is losing nothing like that.

Putin can’t just do what he wants over them, they can remove him if they need to- it could fail , but Prigozhin showed that oligarchs still have a say

If he had any say there would be no need for the drama...

Russia needs to show that it means business and doesn't give two shits.

Russia needs to openly do what the west does for a short period to show the west what can happen if two plays the same game, but if Russia just keeps playing all the wests games then why choose Russia over the US or EU because they would all be the same.

Anything less will be interpreted as a sign of weakness and that means further escalation.

The west has been using its interpretation of Putin to defeat him since the mid 2000s and their ignorance and clumsiness has led to his and Russias rise in power.

Do you expect them to suddenly become smart over night?

It is going to take a few elections and a lot of fools to lose their jobs before the west wakes up and smells the roses.

But the point is that Putin is steering the ship to destroy Kiev as his first priority... bullshit terrorism isn't going to stop that car crash and he needs to make sure Ukraine is done.

These attacks from Ships with ATACMS with cluster munition warheads on Crimea have given him a free hand to impliment some of his threats and there is an enormous range of things he can do or support others to do.... real James Bond super villain stuff... it might actually be entertaining from my vault down in the South Pacific.

I thought that Putin already removed oligarchic power from Russian politics and forced them to play by the rules and pay their taxes.

I guess I was wrong. Oligarchs still run Russia as they did in the 90s.

Does the opinion of Caveat reflect reality or his own demons?

The rich always have some say... whether they actually control anything in Russia is unlikely because so many things Putin has done has made many of them a lot poorer and blocked them from their luxury assets in the west and now they have to invest in Russia... which is helping Russias economy strangely enough.

Western propaganda is normally a mirror.... they reflect their own problems on their enemy, so I can understand trillionaire Putin is a gangster mob with his rich mafia mates ruling the Russian empire while the people suffer and slave away... or is that the Biden family and the Clinton family and the Pelosi family and the Obama family and the Trump family and even the Sunak and Moron families are all rich...

Those oligarchs were somebodies maybe in London when they owned football clubs, but in Russia today they are nobodies. Just rich guys with big mansions and yachts that's it.

Russia is run by Putin and the security council, although that doesn't mean they ignore everyone else's interests. Just that they are the ones making the final decisions.

    Someone from Russia confirms...

Putin didn't leap up and defend the Russian oligarchs in the UK when they were forced to sell their soccer clubs and their assets got pinched because that was money essentially lost to Russia anyway. The western treatment of Russian oligarchs has led to them taking their money home and investing in the Russian economy instead... so it leaves the western economies and weakens them and goes into the Russian economy and boosts that... win for Russia and Russians I would say.

Only one issue, those drones are flying among flight of civil jets in the black sea. Even if they fly roughly 20K above the rest, if shot down, may damage civil jets below it.

They tend to fly with transponders off and are a threat to military and civil air traffic in the region...

Unmanned drones will be shot down and manned aircraft will be escorted out of the air space.

To be frank Russia has only two things going for it versus the West.

    1. Russia has nukes
    2. Russia has less to lose in a nuclear war than the West.

I would say only one of those is true... Russias nukes work and are more advanced than western nukes, and Russian air defence and ABM systems are likely going to be rather more successful than any system the west uses... not 100% of course but significant.

Russia has joined a new organisation like the G7 where it gets a free say with other growing economies whose GDP already exceeds the G7.... it is an economic group whose markets Russia could sell energy and food and material and particularly weapons which will be in great demand now, that is going to expand and grow and develop, while the G7 shrinks and withers and loans money to Kiev that will never be repaid.

I sometimes think some people in the US realise it is over and this is their ritual suicide... start a war in Europe against Russia and then start a war in Asia against China, and now Africa is revolting against the European colonial powers who have kept it poor for centuries and now Central and South American countries are joining BRICS too and are leaving the US and becoming independent.

And war in the middle east could lead to the nuclear destruction of that western construction called Israel.

Many Americans... not just jews but also evangelical christians are going to want the end of days because arabs in their holy land... well that is not acceptable is it?

Currently Russia is only hated and loathed. Instead Russia needs to be hated and feared.

To fear Russia means you have to have a realistic understanding of it, and it being sensible and rational unless you try to stab it it is probably going to actually leave you alone.

It is the west who are feared. Do you think a green grocer who might suddenly stab or shoot you is a good place to buy your food?

Would you trade with a butcher if any second he might decide to throw knives at you or drag you into his meat locker and hang you up and gut and skin you for the next days sausages?

The west confuses respect with hate and fear, the world does not respect the west. They do respect Russia because in the past Russia has helped them against the psychotic nut case that is the west. They fear the west and hate the west and it is not because you have democracy and they don't.... you don't even know you don't have democracy.

He still has to reckon with the 104 big money men in Russia

He has economic concerns but not to make the richest people in Russia slightly richer like they do in the west.

He is more interested in the Russian economy and realised rich people are necessary, but don't let them get too rich... spread it around, and get it to feed downwards.

He has the sovereign power, but he still has to bargain with these men

They don't dictate to him but he does have to keep in mind their interests because they control big important businesses that hire a lot of people and are important to a lot of regions.

If you can elbow your way into a negotiation with Ukraine about an existential threat like war in 2022 , you have way more say then just financial and business matters

Only if it works... and lets face it you send a cat to catch a mouse... the war on the west side is driven by rich powerful families... having someone negotiating that understands their interests makes sense.

Not buying that, west has way more bases and assets exposed than Russia and is spread thinly among 800 bases

This is just cope that everything is going to plan

Lashing out and enjoying yourself can lead to a catastrophic death spiral... the west certainly is horribly vulnerable but Russia needs to take care they don't set into motion things they lose control of that totally back fires.

Medvedev made another angry Telegram post today

    That'll show 'em!

He is consistent. He can make his opinion known but does not have actual power, but is a good indication of what Russians are thinking so I think Putin will listen and certainly wont do nothing... he has already warned the west.

He makes it worse with these pathetic comments that no one takes seriously

Is he the idiot saying what he thinks or are the people escalating on the side of the west thinking nothing will be done and they can do as they please...

151 people are injured from Ukraines attack in Crimean Beach.

Russia will not act. It will launch missiles and drones at various buildings but that's it.

You have clearly been infected with the zombie virus and need to be shot in the head...

The Russians will be talking and working out exactly what happened and who did it... this might mean a certain group of ships that operate out of Odessa could now be targeted that were previously on the no hit list because they were civilian. Putin said the response to things like this will lead to attacks on targets in the Ukraine and BEYOND.

Well do you want a quick clumsy attack that does **** all, or do you want a carefully planned attack that does some real damage...

    You people have no patience...

Putin is too respectful to Islam...This is what treating them with kid's gloves gets you...

Islam is not the problem, you help the US and the nazis by such comments.

lol some kh101 will fly to Starokonstantinov a 7th time, maybe Stryi a 10th

And this will get swept under the rug , and they’ll arrest some low level MOD clown

Give the coping cheerleaders some new software updates

And just go back to 6D chess

    He is quite right.

At the moment Russia is slaughtering the Ukraine and there is nothing at all HATO can do about it except send in their own troops which they are deadly afraid of doing because they don't have enough ammo and weapons for Kievs forces let alone enough ammo and weapons for HATO intervention forces so they understand the HATO forces they send in are going to get killed just like those nazis are... so what can they do?

Upset Russia with some nigger bashing, but there are not enough blacks and not enough of those sort of racists in Russia (unlike the US and west in general) so they go for Muslims and create unrest that way to stop Russia continuing to break the Ukraines military forces... they are running out of time... elections... and simply not enough orcs to feed into the grinder.

Ukrainians are brotherly people for Russians. Why would Putin do something like that?

The war ends when the Orc army breaks and it is very close to breaking so extra measures like cutting off power and probably dropping bridges and attacking rail engines and trucks will create chaos that will finish them off quicker.

Doing it two or three years ago and they would have adapted but now they are out of actual soldiers and winter is coming and of course the US and EU elections shifting the political balance in the west... there is no pro Russian side, but there are pragmatic practical... we don't want to freeze and starve and we certainly don't want to give loans to Kiev that are never going to get repaid sort of people who don't have so much personally invested in the Ukraine.

In the US they are all owned by the US MIC but that is fine.... the ammo is all burned up and the weapon stocks from the cold war are mostly gone and to restock and resupply essentially all of HATO which they have drained is probably going to take the better part of the next two decades... they are going to make a fortune even if peace breaks out tomorrow... not to mention the war in the Middle East and pressure on China is turning into a trade war too... so they might want to rethink who they isolate themselves from... China makes a lot of stuff and Russia exports a lot of energy and food... do they really want to keep playing chicken with these guys... especially escalating to funding terrorists to attack each other in your weak spots.

And Serbia is now supplying Ukraine with weapons. What does that tell you?

Serbia produced a lot of weapons and sold them to HATO countries and front companies and it turns out they were delivering them to Kiev.

Of course Serbian ammo industry is a quality affair but if they are selling to HATO allies I think perhaps many of those shells could have been sabotaged with their performance degraded because Kievs forces complained that a lot of the ammo it was getting was under powered and inaccurate and prone to failure... now that might have been ammo they bought indirectly from third world countries that was made decades ago and was not stored properly or something, but I like to think the Serbs pulled a fast one on their EU and HATO overlords...

    Just me being sentimental...

    Harsh words.

He is a religious person so saying they will burn in hell is actually just normal for such sinners... there can be little room for forgiveness to people who do such wantonly evil things.

    Rather useless words.

He is making his feelings known. He is essentially as helpless as we are, which is probably frustrating for him who at one time was wanting to be friends with the west too.

Unless Russia does something in response, and I don't mean missile launches at a bunch of the same targets as before, but I mean downing US assets in the area and sinking the Ukrainian vessels including hitting intelligence centers, then these attacks will keep on happening.

They need to investigate this properly and work out who needs to suffer.... they can't just say it is highly likely otherwise these guys get arrested:

Russian special military operation in Ukraine #58 - Page 20 Images14

I'm sure this forum is under surveillance and is a TARGET of NATzO PIG Disinformation operations.

The sad thing is that I don't even think they are getting paid... they are repeating western propaganda for free... that is the level of indoctrination.

If Putin isn't a rash bully that lashes out immediately at anything he doesn't like today then he is weak and doesn't respond to anything... before any rational person would have time to work out what actually happened so many demand action that would do nothing to stop attacks like these.

They essentially shot down all four ATACMS, but one of the weapons shot down was just blown off course and shattered releasing its cluster bomb warhead over people on a beach. Bad luck really. But also pretty good evidence that ATACMS is shit.

Iskander seems to hit its target every time.

I don't think the panic brigade an western agents but they swim in the propaganda soup and are swept up when a wave comes that upsets them and makes them want to see action taken against the evil of the west... which is why I am not so hard on them... I do call them names but sometimes hysterical women or hysterical children need a slap. If they could look back at their responses and how useful it is for the west to create such waves to upset the Russian population they should be thanking them for the slap. Don't take it personally... just realise when you are being a pussy tool of the Nazis and just man the **** up.

And turning the other cheek or advocating a parity response against Western targets by Islamic terrorists which Russia doesn't have at its command amounts to doing nothing but putting your head into the sand and hoping the problem goes away by itself.

Putin said the opposite of turning the cheek... he talked about a response in kind... which is not something you can organise quickly if you care about who suffers and who does not... and he clearly does.

He is not a psycho that will kill random innocent people to upset the west because he knows the west don't give a **** about most people anyway.

Like that Aussie dickhead who came here specifically to murder some people of Islamic faith to get people to listen to his bullshit.

I didn't even take the time to learn what his name was let alone what his message might have been.

Take those out and knock out the drones and satelites and the US may adjust its calculus

Even if it just leaves the Syrian people and Russian soldiers there will benefit directly... so I say that is a good idea.

PS - sincere condolences to those that have been injured and those that paid the ultimate price. I hope all these cowards will be brought to justice.

And that is why I continue to support Putin... when Al Quada attacked the US with civilian airliners... an attack perpetrated by Pakistanis and Saudi nationals, the US immediately attacked Iraq and then invaded Afghanistan and after a 20 year war to fix a third world country leaving it as broken and damaged as it was when they arrived they found Osama Bin Laden... in Pakistan... they cost the American taxpayer trillions and achieved nothing at all.

I have confidence that Putin is going to damage the west over this... they are hard to reach, but innocent civilians are not going to suffer for this like they always do when the west lashes out.

And yeah, Medvedev needs to shut up.

Let Medvedev say what we are all thinking... freedom of speech and all that.

Our victory will be the answer for Sevastopol, by Victoria Nikiforova

Such attacks and incidents all shift the boundaries for the next peace offer and it will only get worse for Kiev and the west.

Just the same platitudes and banalities again.

Hurr-durr, victory is at hand, that's why we must NOT retaliate!

This is an article by a woman and you try to criticise it as being from Putin himself.

This woman is sensible enough to understand the west needs escalations because otherwise they lose.

Putin is also sensible, but that is not to say he wont inflict pain on the enemy for these escalations and also continue the plan to make things unbearable for the Ukraine to get a collapse to be sooner rather than later.

Russia should refer to such groups as CIAB, because they are the B team for the CIA.

Travesty. And all Kremlin did was give a warning.

I'm surprised the people's patience in Russia is this strong. Over here, even people would be screaming and in the streets demanding action.

**** off Mike you pussy, the response has to be properly targeted to do the most damage and it has to be planned... they likely have a list of groups and targets all ready to go but different groups can't be totally trusted and might take a Russian MANPAD and shoot down civilian airliners or some such crap for their own interests... how does that help Russia get revenge?

The people driving these attacks don't give a shit about innocent civilians... they would be happy to kill their own people if they could blame Russia or China for it.

US involvement in hostilities that kill Russians cannot but have consequences - Kremlin
    24.06.2024 12:12:52
Moscow. June 24. INTERFAX - The US involvement in the attacks on Crimea cannot but have consequences, said Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“Of course, the involvement of the United States in hostilities, as a result of which Russian civilians are killed, this, of course, cannot but have consequences. What exactly - time will tell,” Peskov said.
This is how he answered the question of whether Russia is planning retaliatory measures of a diplomatic or other nature against the United States, whose missiles were used during the attack on Crimea.
He recalled that the head of state made “very important statements” last week, in particular during a meeting with the heads of international news agencies.
“They talked about possible actions by Russia,” Peskov recalled.

I still see only talk, no action.

How did you know that Victoria Nikiforova is Putins pen name?

Repeating a huge post for a one line response... how about a two day ban for wasting space.... action enough for you?

They should rather stay silent than give warnings, draw red lines and then do nothing when those lines are crossed.

And how were you brought up as a child... no warnings no lectures... do something wrong and you get a hiding...

Putin is following normal civil human behaviour... they made statements about Kiev being allowed to attack anything they pleased. Russia has been restricting its attacks and its behaviour because the west has been limiting Kievs use, so when they said they were lifting the restrictions Putin obviously responded by saying if your limits are gone then so are ours and we will feel free to target threats beyond Ukraines borders into HATO borders.

You could say they have called his bluff, but first he has to work out exactly what happened and who was behind it... but because he gave the warning he is now free to follow through on the promise.

To be clear he didn't say if you attack us within 3 minutes we will attack you back.

Western attacks are clumsy and ultimately useless in military terms of this conflict and the greater conflict with the west, but Putins attacks are measured and calculated to do the most damage to the guilty parties.

Ammo storage, locations where these missions were planned inside Ukraine (ie HQs in Odessa for instance got hit when surface drones were being used).

Now Putins hands are freed to attack targets that have not been hit before which will damage Kiev and reduce its capacity to survive till next year.

This is a good thing because it allows the civil responsible moral good guys to really hurt the nazis with no morals or regard for civilised behaviour.

The history of Russian governance is so bad that Russian people don't expect anything from their government and leaders.

Says a fin whose government just ended Finlands neutrality to join the losing side in a conflict in Europe.

Of course you should be OK because Finland has a habit of swapping sides or deciding it is going to be neutral again.

It is funny that if the Italians or French do it they are called cowards and are not well regarded, but the Fins get away with it.

(not that I am suggesting they are cowards for that because they really didn't have a lot of choices at the time).

I suspect the threat behind closed doors to Finland was that you could choose to trade with the west or you can remain neutral with Russian trade and an iron curtain to the west.

I understand the decision, but don't pretend it had anything to do with democracy or freedom.

This Ukraine war is Putin's first big test and he is failing miserably.

Yes, Russia is failing by throwing off the colonial tentacles of the west that attached themselves in the 1990s and have been bleeding them ever since, and are currently beating all of HATO on their own funneled through the proxy force of the Ukraine with a force that is probably outnumbered by the Ukrainian force even today....

But the fact of the matter is they don't need to use their full strength to defeat HATO in the Ukraine and the US in Syria...

The critics of "Russian inaction" don't have any real suggestions as to what the "action" should be. They are engaged in the typical "you are not doing enough" bitching and
moaning of an airhead. "You don't give me the right feelz, you are a failure". What's that line "revenge is a dish best served cold". That's right. Stick it to them on your
own schedule and not theirs. Lashing out is retarded.

    Shooting down drones.

This is the common one. That one can be done without retaliation as seen in Yemen.

The West has dozens of military bases in the Middle East and Eastern Europe that are valid and legitimate targets for Russian missiles at this point of the war.

Well we know the usa is involved. But when a missile is damaged by ad or ew and hits civilians, just like has happened to some russian missiles, isn't that just part of the tragedy of war?
