A simple solution would be to attach those TM-62's to a drone, though it has to be strong enough to carry almost 11kg. One Russian soldier is worth more than 100 expendable drones.

A couple of ground based drones would make more sense... one to drive up to a wall and push the mine against the wall to detonate it... it could then drive away and be reused, and perhaps a second ground based drone with a mechanism to throw the mine a few metres and it could drive up to the new hole in the wall and launch it inside the building and then drive off too...

Very brave but it makes me wonder what happened to RPO-A's and other disposable thermobaric weapons?

I am guessing the lack of enemy armour and vehicles means they have enormous stacks of these mines and they are coming up with creative ways of using them effectively.

The RPOs and other rocket propelled weapons give a standoff capacity, when you can sneak right up to the enemy position then why waste RPGs when you can use land mines instead?

In afghanistan the Soviets used landmines to lower down into tunnel complexes and detonate.

It was just HE they had spare lying around.

How about putting an explosive on a long stick?

They did that for anti tank use as well... it might as well have been in a backpack... the survival rates of the operators was poor.

Yeah, the Russians are running out of tanks, that is why they are talking about unconditional surrender.... NOT.

The lack of Ukrainian tanks means Russian tanks would not be so critical... they essentially use them as direct fire artillery most of the time now anyway.

One side has roving bands of press gangs conscripting people - men, women, the elderly, the sick and disabled and even children off the street. The **** do you think is happening?

Like what's so hard for Russia to say we have 700k troops and Ukraine is at the 100k figure range with their recruiters trying hard to get more bodies or Ukraine states their numbers and how much Russian troops they think are left, or even a 3rd party country giving that info like from NATO. This shit just seems fishy to me man like it was a pre-arranged war with people in the know already knowing the results through some agreements.

Information is power, telling your enemy how many men you have and how many tanks you have is about as stupid as telling them where they fucking are positioned and what time they have naps.

The fact you think they should release such information, which would get them put in prison based on their own rules, and more importantly get some of their own guys killed and help their enemies to better plan their attacks and defences, shows you are a child.

We wont know any details about this conflict till it is over and even then for some time information will be a state secret because things like force strength and production rates are critical state secrets no one would want to release.

The very concept that Ukraine and Russia might decide to have a war to upset you because you don't know which force structure each side has is ridiculous... as dumb as the idiots who think there is an all powerful council of people who run the world. You think anyone runs the world?

Many would love to but even spending almost a trillion US dollars every yet the US doesn't even come close... it runs the west... perhaps 13% of the dumbest fucks on the planet do as the US tells them all the time... and those dumb are called the west.

We don't know the force levels of each side because it is a war... do you think any country would allow its military secrets be broadcast internationally in the middle of a war?

That stupid site suggests Russia has 7-10 times more rockets, missiles, shells and tanks than Ukraine which is why I am questioning users here if they think that validation is right.

They are guessing, so of course they are wrong, but no one who knows the real answer is going to mention it on the internet... that sort of thing can get you arrested by both sides, because the Russians wont want the world knowing how strong they are just yet, and the Ukrainians wont want the world to know how weak they are...

Most of the traffic for such websites is western who want to hear their tax money is being well spent... expecting such sites to accurately portray the truth is like expecting the companies in the US who determine the state of a countries economy to provide accurate information about that country or any other country that country does not like.

I would argue that in terms of invasion capacity compared with defence capacity many countries would jump around that list for lots of different reasons, but then even quite minor changes could shift a country too.

It is all just bullshit and ego anyway.
