There are lots of Naval infantry soldiers on board. Lots of them. I bet they have BTR-82s ready in the hull.
Means that they are on a mission.
Next stop is country 404 ....
I thought that there were a lot of Naval infantry already stationed in Tartus.
I know they are hard bit it would have been pretty cruel to have submitted them to the trip down.

Oh that F-15 would've been toast had their been a dogfight lol! An F-15 with an all land attack munition loadout, while the intercepting Su-30 is filled to the brim with AAM's, but of course F-15's could never 'lose' a dogfight according to it's Wikipedia page.

Syria and Iraq have downed quite a few f-15. It's just brainwashed fanboys spreading that "104:0" everywhere.

Yeah but in its defence that's a F-15E bomb truck.

Its called "sea-sickness training".
You may be correct. Perhaps those Naval Infantry soldiers were flown to Syria to get on board those 6 ships en-route to you know where.

One hell of a mess that lake is. Turkish/Greece tensions, israeli tensions with everyone, refugees, Lybia, tension for gas/oil areas, tensions with Algeria, tensions Algeria/Morocco, the Suez canal control under one country...
Russian better just look all of them fight eachvother and not waste any kinzhal all.

Military exercices that are made to counter NATO carriers in the med. If NATO responds to any russian attack on ukraine it will be from the black sea. There are less russian AD system on the black sea than on the ground around Ukraine.

Kind of belongs here…according to the report it was agreed during the recent meeting of both countries that isreal would revert to using s2s missiles instead of aircraft launched missiles to prevent further embarrassment to the Russians and their systems.

An opportunity to test a different part of the SAM's targeting profile. More RuAF training in Syria

You mean Russias get tough attitude with HATO has spread to its attitude to the Juice and so they have probably been told if they keep launching missiles via aircraft that those aircraft are going to be targeted and shot down.
Russian systems in Syrian hands seem to have been outstandingly effective... even when considering how ineffective western air defences have proven to be against Iranian ballistic missiles in Iraq and against drones and cruise missiles in Saudi Arabia.
The west totally relies on aircraft for air defence and it is clearly a weak link in western military power because air power is almost completely useless against small battlefield drones.
