Isos spent pages on the Su-34 and proved nothing. His writing that the RCS of an aircraft with underwing armament is "the same" as without it makes absolutely no sense. Then why would they design and build airplanes that carry a deadly arsenal inside the fuselage ?
That the French military industry is rubbish, it is not, but any comparison with Russia does not make sense. From the number of produced fighters, fighter-bombers, strategic bombers, titanium nuclear submarines, helicopters, transport aircraft, tanks, IFVs, APCs, SAM systems.
In Europe, Germany is the absolute number one. If we take the "bragging" of the NATO pact about combat platforms, the Germans are always mentioned in the first place; tank Leopard-2 (performed very badly in his first and only baptism of fire with goat-fuckers), IFV "Puma", APC "Boxer", howitzer PZH 2000. And again, the Russian T-90M can certainly compete with the latest modifications of the Leopard 2, the BMP-3 can penetrate the armor of the "Puma", while the 2S35 "Koalitsiya" the best. The Boxer is quite a bit better than the BTR-82, but not the "Boomerang".
The best from Germany and the best from France.
And one more thing, I feel sorry for the Italians. I still remember my Alfa Romeo 75 1.8 I.E. Turbo. Unfortunately, I did not have that model with the BUSSO V6 engine. It was one of the last true rear-wheel drive Alfa Romeos until the Giulia appeared a few years ago. Not counting the 4C and 8C Competizione models. Italian cars had a "soul", but they made big big mistakes, as is the case with the Lancia Delta, that is, with the second generation. From the best possible platform Lancia Delta HF Integrale that was the first generation of Lancia Delta and the winner of countless rallies, Lancia made a disastrous mistake with the second generation. I have never owned cars with front-wheel drive (boring), diesel engines and especially - automatic transmission, because that's for people who don't like to drive. As long as there are cars with three pedals, I will drive cars. I won't even hear about electric vehicles - let the new generations drive those mobile refrigerators.
I'm sorry that Lancia survives today with only one model sold exclusively in Italy, while Alfa is barely alive.
