A good tactic , that i will do , if was general , is to find a good airport in a strategic place ,that can be defended very well by russian army.. and in case of problems have the rear flank covered for quick retreat  . So capturing kiev , even if symbolical in military terms , can be very useful ,as physological victory.. it can encourage ukrainians army to surrender if their capital captured.

This also will have a real impact in the morale of ukie army.. fighting elsewhere , if for example they understand russia captured kiev.. then this could trigger mass defections in ukraine army and change of loyalty , and a new temporary government .

So now that i see this.. looks worth of trying capturing of kiev.. albeit the military need to stay away of the tall residential buildings , they are dangerous ,can be snipers paradise . Russia will also need to block , the road from any weapons shipments that leads to poland.. so no weapons smuggled from there into ukraine.

mass surrenders could start ,once ukie army feel hungry and don't have have food .
also the surrender of the capital ,could encourage many regions to split from zelensky government.
nato mercenaries in the other hand might not surrender that easy .. there are reports of kosovo terrorist in ukraine , trainned by nato ,fighting in the side of kiev.

what will be a mistake is to stop the war too zoon.. or stay there for months . some major objectives are need , to make it impossible for nato , to send any weapons there or any government to operate
if they dont control the airports. or the naval ports.. Im sure the russian military command had to be planning this war,trainning for it, for many years , in case they forced to invade.. and nato too. but the advantage will be for the one that capture cities. all the cities close to the borders of ukraine should be the easier for the russian army to enter and retreat.. have belarus or russian territory in their rear. So this is why kiev should be taken.. is not far from belarus border.. also all naval ports in odessa too , so nato can park their warships there and re-arm ukraine. Airport where major cargo planes land taken too ,for same reasons.

Indeed, best just to view the vids and ignore the comments although even some of the vids and pics cannot be verified. As always, take with a big pinch of salt.

As for Russian MiG29s, they’ve got some at Lipetsk and older ones at Erebuni but otherwise the western and Southern MD IAPs mostly have Su-35s and 30SMs. Both types currently deployed in Belarus with the 35s being from the Eastern MD. obviously I don’t know what units the Russians are actually using right now.

i consider her tone and calm very interesting.. is important the things she did not said ,but could have said , but didn't . The fact that she is calm ,when russia start a semi full scale invasion , makes me thinks ,that she actually welcomes it.. but naturally she can't say that in camera , that is ok with russian invasion , because reject their government or the nazi police could arrest her. either way , people are taking calm the russian invasion and they even ignored most times by civilians.
zelensky popularity is so low ,and ukraine economy so bad , that many will prefer any invading army ,that kiev regime.

It's possible. Secretly, huge portion of Ukraine is sympathetic to Russia and East Ukraine, just afraid to say it.

Most people in Ukraine are so poor and apathetic they don’t care who rules them. Russia or a Russian puppet or an American puppet. Or Micky mouse. When a country is that broke and corrupt basic life necessities take precedence over everything else. Russia was like this too in the 90s and early 2000s. I can see the apathy in that woman.

And with ECCM and ECM equipment , MIG35 is more versatile for suppression of enemy air defense

Anything that can carry KH-31P most likely, 24s, 34s, 30s? impossible to say. If official specs are true it is a very capable missile.
