Russia is seizing Chernobyl NPP according to Zelensky.
Following the logic of preventing Banderastan from developing a dirty bomb or other nuclear device, Russia needs to seize all Banderite controlled NPPs and related facilities.

I can see why airports are being hit or being taken over . No more American Candy landing ! What a bitter fate for ukrotard Nazis . Sea port also closed . And someone said " watch the Road to Poland " , then airborne troops can take care of English lethal aid by Royal mail . Enter only government buildings to arrest criminals of interior ministry of Asov . Asap . However Putin said " we have their names , " so pointless burning their ID ! Why is the Black Sea TV , still working ? Take it over and play some Russian music ! Or bring it down and broadcast own TV programme . Something happy and light hearted will do .

The filling of the Crimean canal indicates to me that Russia is not going to surrender control of the Kherson region to any regime that is not aligned with Russia. So this operation is going to force regime change on Banderastan. The evacuation of oligarchs and foreign diplomats anticipates this scenario.

Another consideration about NPPs in Ukraine is that there was a high risk of more Chernobyls. This is not chest thumping hyperbole. Even if this was not on the triggering criteria for regime change, it is a worthwhile side benefit. I will repeat for the billionth time: the Kiev regime f*cked Ukraine over.

Aristide wrote:Difference is, we will destroy anything Russia trades with. Pipelines can also be blown up inside Russia. Its a big country. And with evrything confiscated within EU that belonged to Russia we can finance Ukraine war for freedom
You know what Aristide. Since you claim to be French, or at least live there, if you ever pass by the Air Museum at Le Bourget Airport try reading the plaque of the grayish plane with the red star on its tail.
De Gaulle was smarter than that and tried for France to have an independent foreign policy. But since French people no longer know what having an independent foreign policy is, or what a politician like that is supposed to look like, France will just have to continue to slip into irrelevance. I heard the book "The American Trap" by Frédéric Pierucci was quite popular a read in China.

China has blamed the US for creating the tensions which led to Thursday's Russian attack on Ukraine. Beijing further called on the international community to avoid “stoking panic” over the situation.
During a press briefing, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said the key question was the role played by the Americans, whom she branded “the [main] culprit of current tensions.”
“If someone keeps pouring oil on the flames while accusing others of not doing their best to put out the fire, such kind of behavior is clearly irresponsible and immoral,” Hua said. China objects to “any action that hypes up war,” she added.
Chunying accused the US of hypocrisy, asking whether Washington had respected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq and Afghanistan, where she said it had “wantonly killed innocent people.” She called on the US to “take these questions seriously and abandon double standards.”
Describing the unfolding events as “complex,” the spokeswoman confirmed that Beijing was not providing military support to Russia, and said China was not “jumping to any conclusions” over the situation. She called on all sides to “work for peace instead of increasing tensions” or “stoking panic.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military attack on Ukraine on Thursday, which he said was aimed at demilitarizing and “denazifying” the country. He accused the West of flooding Ukraine with advanced weaponry and ramping up the NATO presence in the country, arguing that the Russian “special operation” was necessary to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, which Moscow has recognized as sovereign states.
Russia’s military action has prompted an international outcry and threats of new, large-scale sanctions. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Thursday that Kiev had cut diplomatic ties with Moscow.
Beijing claims the US has ‘poured oil on the flames’.

Despite my own financial losses and the worry I share with my Russian wife from Crimea, I am happy and relieved that the final reckoning has arrived and soon Novorossiya will be liberated.
Nothing to add for now.
I think I will translate and comment the Cassad briefins in my blog.
To victory!

Several fighters of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces voluntarily laid down their weapons and defected to the Lugansk People's Republic’s side, a correspondent of the LuganskInformCenter in the Krymskoye settlement reports.

I am more concerned regards VDV troops that are being surrounded in the woods near Kiev. There are no relief forces there yet.
Settle down comrade, don't believe everything you read on Twitter. Chances are, it's fake. But what isn't so far is the soldiers defecting from Ukraine.

Reality is, and I dont mean to sound cynical here, God bless those forces in the line of fire
General Staff conducts Recon in force prior to the main assaults
What we see is several salients/beachheads seized for follow on forces
These probes are drawing away UKR from main axis of attack, as well as probing them in different sectors to gain intel for follow on forces of Suhoputnye Voyska,
The main effort is the Army always, they're taking their Goddamn sweet time, but they are coming
Furthermore, they will be drawn into decisive battles
The decisive confrontation has not occured yet, most UKRs near border are holding, several tank columns were savaged , if BM30 is nearby that means Goshdamn Tank army is lurking
So they will probe in rear and fix opposition forces for decisive battle and for long range fires
