Both intact.
So the destruction of Miria was done by Ukros artillery strike.
Just like the Ruskies were saying from the beginning.

First wave (most likey) of VDV landing on Gostomel airport on day one. I geolocated the clip myself.
Center of screen on this map is where the mortar was working from.

Impressive video, that's a lot of troops over there.

Yes, Ukrainians absolutely leveled the place with their artillery. Not sure about their claims of retaking it, maybe some parts of the territory around it as the whole area is massive and they never posted any proof.

VDV took heavy damages there. However from what was posted they never retook the airport.

Just a quick question and would love to hear your ideas.
At 3:10 you can see Kamaz and Tigr with V's on them. How did they get there? It's not footage from only day one, is it?

That was super obvious, really, that they shelled their own "Dream".
Super sad, to be perfectly honest. Naturally the Russians indirectly caused it, but facts are facts.
Another aspect: Had the aircraft not been undergoing maintenance, the Ukrainians would probably have flown it out way before any of this commenced, and it would have acted as a symbol, a PR boost in exile (since people are oblivious to the fact that Antonovs presence in Ukraine is the result of a USSR charity project, and both Oleg Antonov and the An-124 and -225 designers Viktor Tolmachyov et al were Russian), so really the Russians can just thank them for it all. - "we didn't do it".

From the looks of it the landing, might be day one, from the looks of it the landing zone is not hot but neither secure. And the later pics with trucks and such might be either captured stuff, not an expert on Ukrainian trucks, or it might be from the relife force.

And now for evil Russian propaganda show about An-225 and earlier Soviet designed and built transport planes. . . . No wait, actually this is from the American cable television network The Discovery Channel's Wings of the Red Star. I am very surprised that there have not been efforts to scrub this during the recent Orwellian assault on all things Russian

Some Protestant and Catholic churches are however protesting against Russia and are holding prayer meetings to support Ukraine.

Of course, they have a long standing tradition of supporting Nazis.Sujoy wrote:Don't know about other countries but large scale protest against Russia has been banned almost across India (not that too many locals had any interest in protesting to begin with)

Ukrainians don't use Tigrs and don't have such Kamaz trucks. But there are plenty of captured Ukrainian equipment in the footage, like BTR-4 and MRAPs. I think you are right about relieve force, it would explain how VDV force was able to hold out. We know very little what happened there.

True! some of the most ballsy stuff i have seen. I have always kind of secretly questioned the usefulness of large scale airmobile ops on a modern battlefield. And i'm not ashamed to be wrong. VDV sure again proved that they are to be counted on.

german steelmakers are shutting down
This is looking very bad for the European economy, remember they are dependent on these industries
Looks like everyone is going down from this economic war
Wow, they are massive and crucial part not only for German economy. I am starting to think that sanctions in modern economy are like Mutual Assured Destruction. Prices of energy will not go down any time soon, so their closure is indefinite until that happens. Many "energy hungry" industries are affected.
I'm sure the US can apply some military 'pressure' now and interventions to secure cheaper gas supplies.
The West will manage
No way the gas prices in Europe are 14x the price in N. America. The happened BEFORE the war. Russian gas is still flowing to German at the contracted rate and some is flowing at the higher rate. If I were Russia I would up the gas price to spot market and toss the contracts. Germany is gonna dump Russian NG anyway so may as well inflict the same economic destruction they are inflicting on you.

It is not an action that comes from the government, but it would have to do something about it.
Similarly, the vast majority of political parties in Argentina (from left to right), do not support Russia.
Even many criticize it.
