4) it IS also about nazis. There were nationalists on all levels of UKro administration. Russian speaking folks were second class citizens. Bandera's birthday is their national holiday.  Bandera was nazi and responsible of genocide during ww2.

Also if anyone is wondering why livemap has turned extremely bias during this conflict it's because the two owners of livemap are Ukrainian and pro neo Nazi as well as suffering from snowflake syndrome. Another source which has turned into a pile of crap.

I'd say there is good reason to believe that. They were not implementing Minsk, and like Saakashvilli they were only expanding the Ukrainian military. While building up more and more NATO infrastructure.

The Ukraine wouldn't be touched by Russia if it was just simply stupid out of own confusion, but the issue at hand is, that the entire administration, the entire Rada and everyone who is making decisions are CIA assets. NATO is building up provocations on the border with SAMs and warships entering the theatre. You might ignore it but we both know that Russia will sink any US/NATO warship if they feel it necessary. If there was anyone else but Putin this shit might have ended very bad for Russia and the rest of Europe, but today with most certainty I can say the de-escalation by Russian action is working great. PONOS countries are reluctant to act against Russia, Germany is very soft on the former hard-liner speeches of their sanctions. Europe can not survive without Russia, but definitely once the fat american bully is gone they will do just fine and even prosper. The US is useless to the world and has no value other than hollywood heroes.

The sanctions would have been put anyway, using some other excuse.
4 years ago as an example there was the fake skripal poisoning, and that was used for additional sanctions.

Russian products would not have been anyway welcomed in EU countries.

This Operation was never done by the west because they wouldn't have the balls to do it.

You can claim whatever, but Russia went in with a significantly less force, took 40% of a country larger than most others in Europe, and that was trained and equipped for the last 8 years by NATO.

I think its approx half and half. Pro Russian langauge and political parties have been banned at various intervals since 2014. Also, in the 2012 election, Party of the Regions was seen as "middle of the road", with Communists being a biggish group in the S and East. Which would suggest the "centre of gravity" was slightly Russian.

Plus there is Surzhik as the 3rd position for language. Additionally, the cities, minus Lvov were generally Russian speaking. And the inbred rural fuckwits more likely to be Ukrainian. Federalisation would have increased the predominance of Russian language, trade, cultural ties etc, it was believed.

Finally, the preponderance of nationalists in the West was in some part due to demographics via "ethnic cleansing" ie genocide of Russians and Jews in WW2.

Take away 30yrs of John McCain/NATO/Nazi brainwashing and intimidation and the Ukraine is maybe 62% Russian or so.

I'm sure most of the land/people can be reclaimed for the Russian World. And as for the nationalist filth well they can be secured away in a demilitarised zone to trade with the Euro-morons and cry over the results of the war crime trials.

My family are from Kiev/nearby so its something I've thought about quite a bit from the West the past couple of decades or so. The family always considered themselves Russian, not hohol Ukrainian.

I don't think the big coloured maps indicate the situation.
Russia's tactic is to squeeze the Donbass cauldron, Mariupol, and wait patiently around Kiev and Kharbkov. Operationally its pretty much choked off the military. And the hohols are little more than geurillas/terrorists now.

They deliberately shroud the details in mystery, likewise with smaller cities.
Russia doesn'tw ant to harm the crop planting in the interior and sees little benefit it driving heavy forces there, when it can destroy the nationalist/nazi monsters in the places they actually are.

It would be nice to see the hohol borders sealed, esp from Polish shiftiness. But I suspect intel is pretty good on the Ru side.

An interesting aspect re maps is what is actually happening westward and what will happen. But Russia has no desire to telegraph that, or the details of the op. And I think we have to completely agree with them.

Let me add :

1) from geopolitical point of view Russia claimed back Ukraine to their orbit. Now USSR 2.0 has big chance to materialize. Note Brzeziski (aka old condom) claimed that Russia never return to USSR level without Ukraine.

3) Ukraine was independent country so it remains. Perhaps federal yet independent. If it will be dependent on Russia now like previously to USA. Now is bad and then was good?

4) economically - Russia was hit hard yet not mortally. It is like in 41 then factories on Ural and now redirecting supply chains towards China and India at the first place. IMHO mentality of last 30 years (dangerously popular) then Russia is to belong to international community (US, vassals and doggies) and there is no need to manufacture in Russia you can buy. Now there is a good chance to repair this. As well as remove Vth column - like Dvorkovitch, closing Novaya Gazeta, Lozh TV, Ekho of Matza,,, list will have new elements added for sure.




So though it will slow down Russian economy for some years then Russia can start growing pretty fast. Without leftovers of 90s, western living elites and sucking money from Russia. That's the real war and there is always possibility of counterattack, since local concentration of forces can be higher on Ukrainian side. Though you cannot say about huge operation just some more or rather less local counterattack.
