Last pic is taken from a video of A. Martyanov about some western comments and fake stories. VKS is "only" flying 200 - 300 sorties a day into 404.
The whole "coalition" flew roughly 1.000 sorties a day but the bulk of it were tankers and cargo planes (most of the time not flying into Iraq). Cargo
flights or even bombers aren´t even counted in the western estimate about flown sorties.

The Ukrainians have not yet reached the border. The reports yesterday were wrong.diabetus wrote:Russian supply routes to Izium might be at risk now due to Ukraine's push in the vicinity of Kharkov.
It is doubtful whether they can already threaten supplies. I hope for a counterattack by Russian troops. The Ukrainians are now in open field and easy targets for artillery

Alexander the great buried his dead soldiers as quick as possible and very secretively...the opponents thought that Alexander's army was immortal and invincible and surrendered relatively quickly. That's the main factor Alexander built a empire from Greece to India in only a few years. Where the opponents had not yet heard of Alexander's mythical fame, he also broke his teeth.PapaDragon wrote:Azi wrote:PapaDragon wrote:
Moral victory never delivered war victory
Moral is irrelevant
I would say that is the most important factor of all....much more important than modern weapons ...
Morale don't count for shit, morals even less so (we had plenty of it over here and it didn't mean f*ck all in the end)
Nobody was born a Nazi! Ukrainians were, are and will remain brothers and sisters of the Russian people. They are so Russophobic at the moment (not all) because they have been fed Western and Nazi propaganda for 20 years. Killing everyone would only help one, Uncle Sam. It would hurt Russia as much as it hurt Ukraine.
But I agree with you that the main part of the Nazi troops in Donbass and in Kharkov must be defeated militarily. The Nazis now must be grinded away in the big meat grinder! A victory that is too quick is also not good politically, because if the war is slow, Russia can absorb parts of Ukraine.
Funnily enough, if Ukraine would have capitulated after a week it had kept all its territory except Donbass, now it will lose more than half...the advantage of the slow military operation

You'd have thought that Yugoslavia/Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Georgia, Libya, Syria, Yemen etc (or Skripal, Navalny, MH17, Uighur Genocide, NS2 etc) would have more that adequate to clearly illustrate how the West uses lies and deceit as a core component of their global dominance strategy? Some people however will fight tooth and nail in order to keep the blindfold in place. Stupid runs deep it does seem.

... and if they would have implemented the Minsk peace agreements, that were a UN (!!) resolution - they would retain the Donbas either.
Minsk agreements place Donbas as a part of the Ukrainian state, and the political state of the country was to be determined by legislative and democratic means.
Let it be a federation, or a free territory without foreign policy and military force, with security granted by Russia and Ukraine hand by hand ...
Germany is a federation.
Russia is a federation.
But that was not good enough, oh no!
The curators of Ukropistan were not interested in this solution, because it would resolve the problems and bring the peace back. Back in 2015, it was not too late.
But they wanted the problem to grow up and boil, to make Ukraine cross the Rubikon and became an Ukropistan.

Only in the South and East, most of the Ukrops to the North and West are indistinguishable from your average Polack or Georgian in mentality. They hate Russia and will always blame Russians for all their shortcomings in life.Azi wrote:Nobody was born a Nazi! Ukrainians were, are and will remain brothers and sisters of the Russian people.
They're Russophobic because they have no real identity or history of their own. What is the Ukraine? Kievan Rus was Russian, not Ukrainian. They call Russians mongoloids while they have Azov men who look like Neanderthals addressing the Greek parliament. They are mostly a lost and hopeless people and the worst thing Russia could do is try to Russify them, it didn't work in Soviet times and it won't work now. Crush them militarily and leave them to wallow in shit. They are so Russophobic at the moment (not all) because they have been fed Western and Nazi propaganda for 20 years.

This should be Kh-32, as right after launch it climbs upwards. Also wasn't this missile exclusively built to take out the NATO carriers? I didn't know it had land attack capability as well.

Most likely a supersonic missile since we didn't hear anything before the explosion (and neither did they).flamming_python wrote:Man what was that missile?

GarryB wrote " For Russia there was no alternative to war so it does not matter how long it takes... " I am not an Armchair General , but I do know a little about Cookery and Ceramics . As an analogy ; in cooking , there is mostly a proportional relationship between heat - work applied to time of cooking . For example : we can get similar effects by cooking a stew at 80 C for one hour , to say cooking at 60 C , for 1.5 hours . But in Ceramics , there is hardly a proportional relationship . If we fire a pot at 900 C , for ten hours , compared to firing a pot at 450 C , for twenty hours , we do not get similar results . One pot will be fired to hardness , the other still a lump of dry mud !
Therefore first , what is the nature of war ? Is there a direct or proportional relationship , between work done and the end result ? Or is there a non-proportional relationship , say a curve that flattens out or even drops off ? We know that if there was a proportional relationship , then the winning side would not suddenly quit , and the loosing side , would not forever hang on . This means that a non - linear relationship exists , where certain variables come into play and have a marked qualitative impact .
And if , it can not be purely material resources , then we have to look at the psychological or social aspects . For some societies , and some armies , then a small pressure becomes unbearable . And for others , even a big pressure is bearable . Which do we plan for ? It seems , we have a choice of how much work we do and when . And how high we need to turn up the heat ( how intense the fighting becomes ) , to cause a psychological fusion ?

Am i missing something here, isn't this the west news? It makes no sense
Ukraine beat Russia to close gas deliveries, talk about a night of long knives!
Why Ukraine shut off the gas, wont this turn Germany and EU against them?
Wont this build support for Nord 2?
This will sink the EU economy..... Inflation in double figures..... German economy will die
no gas for germany = no backflow to pass on to Poland
plus ukr was getting a fee for the gas going through the pipelines - now they can say good bye to that.... wonder what Poland will say to it all? Maybe instead of Russia, it will be Poland declaring an all out war and invade Ukr hahaha
Collective suicide, this is just a circular firing squad
Surely NATO & EU can see that USA Will throw them under the bus and dont care a damn about them and it has only helped Russia with the price of gas going up
