    The Russians at that time fired about 200 different means at Ukraine in one salvo. Very diverse. Starting with drones and ending with the very advanced 3M22. A whole range of the most modern missiles and drones. An attack on a scale similar to that of Iran but with much more modern means. These dozen or so old American ballistics will look miserable in comparison.

    What is known about Biden's decision to authorize strikes deep into the Russian Federation:

    ⏺ The New York Times was the first to report that this was allegedly accepted, claiming that it was an Atakams tactical ballistic missile;

    ⏺ "Reuters" claims that strikes deep into Russia could be carried out in the coming days;

    ⏺ Donald Trump Jr. called those responsible for the decision to strike deep into Russia imbeciles;

    ⏺ The US permission to use long-range weapons against Russia will probably not take into account all the wishes of Kiev, writes "Bloomberg" ;

    ⏺ The Pentagon does not comment on the decision to attack the territory of Russia with American weapons;

    ⏺ US missile strikes deep into the regions of the Russian Federation will lead to a serious escalation, said Russian MP Leonid Slutsky;

    ⏺ Elon Musk agreed that "liberals love war" , commenting on the US decision to strike with long-range weapons deep into Russia;

    ⏺ Trump may reconsider the decision to strike Russia with US weapons, a representative of Trump's transition team said;

    ⏺ Biden is trying to organize a third world war by allowing the United States to fire weapons at the Russian Federation, said Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green;

    ⏺ The outgoing US president himself did not answer the question about the strikes against the Russian Federation.

    But pay attention to one thing.
    This pussy whining is not being made by any official Russian body. It is something being put into their mouths, for propaganda purposes.
    They are only informing that every western action will be met with an adequate response.
    Anglosaxon meddling ended up with Ukraine losing the Crimea back in 2014, but that was just about it.
    A civil war unleashed against the Russkie population ended with North Wind in 2015, and the physical destruction of the Ukrainian army - which led to the autonomy of Donbas.
    Further meddling and increasing pressure on the republics ended up with a defense agreement with Russia at the beginning of 2022.
    It has not cooled them down, even after witnessing a rapid and unprecedented reaction to Kazakh events in Jan 2022, so what they have received was a full-scale invasion in Feb 22.
    Still, the territorial integrity of Ukraine was STILL on the table in Istanbul negotiations, and it has been the next step of provocations and breaking the negotiations process that resulted in referendums in Lugansk, Doneck, Cherson and Zaphorozhe - all of them finally accepted as a part of the Russian Federation.
    Any further pressure of the west, will end up with Russki marching further west.
    It is as easy as that.

    Now compare the nonsense about "returning to the 2014 borders" with now already formal position of the west. Which sums up with the acknowledge of the fact that Crimea is Russia, and there are some objective situation on the ground that must be considered. Which is Donbas already proclaimed Russian, with the ongoing understanding process that the same applies to Cherson and Zaporhozhe. Let them meddle more. Just let them.

    It looks like they are trying to, at leasy in part, walk it back Laughing

    Another Western publication writes that Biden's decision to lift the ban on long-range strikes applies only to the Kursk region.

    The permission was given to Ukraine about three days ago, the Axios website reports.

    The motive, according to the source, was the desire to deter North Korea from the alleged "sending of new troops to Russia."

    The French newspaper "Figaro" retracted the article about the permission of France and Great Britain for strikes deep into Russia.

     On the other hand, the information of the "New York Times" and the "France Presse" agency about the US permission for Ukraine to use long-range missiles remained unchanged.

    Ajmal Raza
    @MrAJMALSays
    The retraction of the "Figaro" article only adds to the confusion and complexity of the situation. While the details about France and Great Britain's alleged permission for strikes deep into Russia may have been disputed, the reports from the "New York Times" and "France Presse" about the U.S. granting Ukraine permission for long-range missile use remain steadfast.

    This highlights the ongoing tension between Western powers and Russia, with the situation evolving rapidly. The mixed messages from different sources further demonstrate the delicate and volatile nature of the geopolitical landscape, leaving many to wonder what the true extent of Western involvement in Ukraine's military operations is.

    Now, just judge by yourself if that is something worth to discuss ...

    🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦The French publication Le Figaro has removed information that France and Britain, following the US, have allowed Ukraine to launch strikes with its Storm Shadow (SCALP-EG) missiles deep into Russian territory.

    In turn, The Times writes that the US may not yet have given consent to Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow missiles.

    It should be noted that despite their British origin, the Storm Shadow missiles use American technology, which requires the UK to obtain additional permission from the US.

    Thus, so far, only the information about Biden’s permission to launch ATACMS missile strikes has been reliably confirmed, with Axios clarifying that this decision only concerns the Kursk region.

    In principle, depriving the Ukraine of any sort of electricity generation capability and sending it to the pre-industrial era is a good way to guarantee that it won't develop nuclear weapons.
    I don't think uranium centrifuges are the sort of thing you can run off portable generators

    So quite possible that these strikes would have begun regardless. But the ATACMS announcement is as good a pretext as any.

    Scorpius wrote:This is complete nonsense. Because each of these cases is a reason for a retaliatory nuclear strike - not to mention the fact that Russia gets every right to glaze the Pentagon and the White House with two missiles.

    Ukrainian nuclear weapons? It's so dumb, it couldn't be funnier.

    Imagine combining that with programmable AHEAD-style ammunition, and what you have at the end is an ultimate drone/cruise missile killer with 25 km range and 20 km altitude, if combined with a newly developed rounds. That thing can create a really effective umbrella at a fraction of cost.

    Why not say go big or go home... the largest calibre of AA gun they produced was the 130mm wasn't it?

    With such a large calibre they could incorporate limited steering to follow targets with air burst proximity fuses or command detonation fuses to ensure better damage to the target with fewer shots required.

    Only countermeasures now is probably increased drone/aircraft surveillance with satellite imagery to target MLRS systems before they strike and maybe a more denser air defense network than before that allowed some of their air defense launchers to get destroyed by barrages of missiles.

    Putin already said the use of deep strike HATO weapons requires HATO assistance to use, which makes HATO a party to the conflict which makes HATO targets legitimate targets to take out for Russia.

    "This was done with the aim of significantly complicating the negotiation process on Ukraine for Trump and his future administration. Apparently, neither Biden nor his henchmen are thinking about the consequences of such recklessness, guided by the desire to harm Trump as much as possible in the two remaining months and raise the stakes in the geopolitical game," the deputy concluded.

    Maybe Russia should vapourise the US embassy in Kiev... time for US blood to be openly and obviously spilled.

    Why now ? I think the democrats finally managed to convince Trump , saying " well Donald ,

    Biden is president, he doesn't need Trumps permission to do anything he likes. They might have discussed this but Biden doesn't need Trumps permission for anything.

    I was shocked by the news that the Biden regime could trigger a nuclear war with this step, but apparently I am the only one here who got scared. Isn't it possible that one of those long range missiles could carry a nuclear warhead in order to attempt a decapitation strike against Russia? I am not a military expert obviously.

    This is going to really hurt Kiev, and as you point out... the Russians have no idea what sort of warheads these weapons will be carrying... all this talk by Kiev about nukes and they could assume the worst and start decapitation attacks of their own...

    300km is nothing, this is just PR move

    It is a fantastic opportunity... a blatant escalation that Putin threatened would change the conflict... so he could pretty much do anything he wants to to hurt Kiev and the west... they are giving him a free hit to the testicles.... and he will likely take a good run up for this one.

    As for the US missiles deal, the Russians are using foreign supplied arms and munitions in Ukraine, you cannot cry when you are doing the same shit.

    I would say the reverse was already true, the US has spent billions and tried to source weapons and ammo from the entire planet and now they are getting all prissy because they think North Korea might be helping Russia?

    I would say if Zelensky thinks this is a good idea then Russia should remove him and as many of the Ukraine leadership as it currently stands as possible.

    I would also say now the US has joined the war their embassy that seems so very busy would also be a legitimate target too.

    Get ready for the humiliation of the century when the Houthis sink an aircraft carrier.

    In a US port...

    What we are looking at could be an attempted revenge by the Pentagon of that strike by a Russian proxy using their Ukraine proxy.

    The US has targets spread out over the entire globe... pretty stupid of them to start throwing stones...

    Months ago it was Russian authorities who said it was a matter of when, not if, those missiles would be used to strike at Russia properly. And they already had anyway.

    So it really doesn't matter.

    The only thing the US seems capable of is escalation, so when Kiev tries its amazing attack lets see what Putin orders the Russian military to do.

    People don't realize how hard such a task is

    The Russians are very aware of how hard it is... and how soft it is... they know what they are doing...

    Can you say the same for the US leadership?

    You can't win a war if all you do is defend and are not allowed to strike back. No matter how well you defend.

    The problem for Kiev is that they are using the HATO playbook which expects to have full air control and artillery support and for the enemy to be poorly equipped and poorly supported and with no air power or artillery.

    I think it is just a poison pill that Biden/the Democrats are serving Trump and his administration.

    Indeed... they are trying to escalate in the hopes the Russian response will demand a further US response etc etc

    Perhaps the destruction of Blackrock assets across Ukraine would be a good start, with assets belonging to the Biden and Pelosi families being hit too...

    Of course the heating and electrical grid already hit it is only a matter of a cold winter to create a migration crisis for Europe...

    1. depending on how much missiles and how air defenses work, take the hits and continue with the war(done this too many times)

    Not true. The responses have been against military targets which don't get reported in the west so it appears nothing happened.

    Several HATO advisors in HQs have been removed from the gene pool after attacks on the bridge and other attacks.

    I think you could have maximized damage to Russia being silent with the missile transfers. These 2 months will probably be nothing.

    Perhaps an agreed plan between Biden and Trump to strengthen Trumps hand for negotiations... Biden bad cop, I am good cop... I called off the long range strikes but I can turn them back on if you don't play ball...

    Taking out western embassies in Kiev would be a weak response to a direct NATO strike against Russia. Very, very weak.

    The US embassy in Kiev has about 2,000 employees and if they are not running the war they are likely running the country.

    Taking out the the personnel responsible for strikes against critical infrastructure in Russia (whether military or civilian) IS NOT ENOUGH!

    Destroying the embassy will kill many of the people who have spent the better part of a decade creating this version of the Ukraine... don't know of any targets that are more worthy of a Kinzhal.

    IMO they will just go for the head like israeli did against Hezbollah. Once it is decapitated frontline soldiers won't be scared to flee en mass.

    If Zelensky has been talking about deep strikes in Russian territory and also about nukes then eliminating him might become useful to Russia... he is incompetent, but now he is a threat... kill him and hope for someone more rational... or kill them too.

    When it is no longer safe for Zelenski or Kiev leadership in Kiev then the population of Kiev might consider leaving too.

    Begging the enemy to forbid the use of certain weapons in a war is a joke. If their only defence is this then just give up.

    They are not begging anyone... only the green t shirt guy is begging. Putin was clear and stated Russias position and it seems Biden is ignoring him.

    I think it will be amusing to see what the Russians do in response to any attack by Kiev.

    If Russia wants to "save the world" by not retaliating against serious and blatant strikes against them they are entitled to do so.

    Nothing to do with saving the world, and everything to do with playing the cards you are dealt.

    If you think Russia can nuke the US or EU and there be no consequences then you are very new.

    Not begging, but useless and vague "threats". Or not even threats, but comments such as "we will react....". But they never clarify what the reaction will be. So far the reaction has been total inaction.

    Very clear warnings I would say.... so clear Biden didn't have the balls to do this before and Shultz also has refused to deliver Taurus missiles to Kiev for this very reason.

    And the next step, ALAMO, that NATO will take after it figures out that it can simply fire missiles into Russia at will,

    Your problem is projection... along with the looney tunes.... you are making claims that Putin will do nothing.

    IF Putin will do nothing then what the **** is this current war... Putin does nothing remember.

    Putin also sanctioned sales of Uranium to the US... maybe that is what pissed Biden off... so how about we wait to see what actually happens.

    HATO countries might not assist Kiev to use these weapons in long range strikes but if they do, whether they do any damage or just get shot down on the way to their targets like the vast majority so far seem to be doing Putin will then be free to follow through with his warnings.

    It is a gift from the west.... like the sanctions gifts that allowed him to block imports of cheap EU food... Putin is probably rather happy... if a little nervous of the unknown.

    will be to take out Putin say over international airspace, take out other members of the Russian government or perhaps the military leadership.

    Do you think HATO are stupid enough to want WWIII because any of those happening will be obvious grounds for nuking the entire west... maybe a new start is what we all need for those who survive.

    Send in a Zircon missile armed frigate for a long patrol to the Caribbean.

    Too vulnerable on its own...

    Better to just start hitting all the targets that have not been hit so far... Blackrock owned farms and mines and companies, Biden and Clinton and Pelosi owned company assets, the Rada, Zelensky, the assets of Ukrainian oligarchs including but not limited to the chocolate man... and of course US embassies and property including CIA bio weapon labs...

    Judging by the massive losses the zionist occupation forces are suffering in Lebanon this grand strategy didn´t work out.
    For every General you kill there are 5 Colonels who can take over.

    Decapitating a snake is a terrible analogy... taking out the leadership merely creates opportunities for the next in line and the line is continuous...

    And don't whine at USA for being good at their job and planning ahead, nobody likes salty bitches

    Nobody forced Russia to build their entire foreign policy in other side's pinky promise despite everyone telling them that it's retarded

    Either clean up the mess or stop whining about rolling in shit

    I don't agree... this is a rescue operation, that the US calls a war because they think their own influence and actions are benign and even beneficial, when in fact they are selfish and criminal.

    If the US continues to escalate then of course Russia can follow but their escalation will not target the Ukrainian civilian, they follow the rules of war, so they can shift to attacking HATO targets instead... all legitimate targets of course...

    Putin explained why and how that logic works, but of course the west will be shocked and horrified when it happens.

    The New York Times was the first to report that this was allegedly accepted, claiming that it was an Atakams tactical ballistic missile;

    Western publications have been pedalling shit for a week or two now... claims Putin and Trump talked... bullshit.... claims to know Trumps plan... ceasefire and no HATO for 20 years and EU peacekeepers in Donbass etc... also bullshit...

    The quality of western media is just bullshit.

    They are trying to talk the talk but that means nothing if they don't walk the walk.

    Iran's Foreign Minister

    It was to prevent Russia using energy deliveries to the EU as a weapon to force the EU to do what Russia wanted them to do that created a lot of problems and they still have a Russian energy addiction.... but now they are paying three times more to buy it from intermediaries.

    The US turned Russian energy supplies to the EU into a weapon and they are beating the EU to death with that... for which the EU blames Putin.

    Except that Washington will be convinced that Russia will not retaliate with a nuclear strike.

    **** Washington... they can think anything they like in their little ivory towers surrounded by their Yes men advisors telling them how smart and pretty they look.

    When they do something stupid Putin punishes them for it.... he has been doing that for the better part of the last two decades.

    The Ukrainians have tried to strike the Kursk nuclear power plant more than once with drones. With the ATACMS they would have enough range for a direct strike. Of course the creation of a nuclear disaster would, in my opinion, lead to Russian nuclear retaliation on Ukraine and possibly NATO as well.

    Indeed it is.

    Say next week (or better still this week when every World leader bar Putin is in Brazil at the G20) Russia could claim that they had been hit at long range by an ATACM when it was actually a Ukrainian drone (or even a Russian missile fired east from Ukraine to get a radar track Smile ). In the knowledge that the US would scream blue murder that it wasn't them even if it had been.

    The US has yet again opened themselves up to the Law of Unintended Consequences.

    Russian retaliation about such threat is keep winning battles. Focus on how to do the battles carefully and analyzing the intels to predict any potential retaliation of the Kiev forces. All of the barking of Western media is trivial.

    We already know the "crossing red-line" rhetoric is meaningless in this context, because Russia is actively hammering the Kiev forces.

    There are many steps on the escalation ladder which the west can slip and break a few bones (vassal states).

    Something like that will be a good response. At least initially.

    Of course it won't really be Somali pirates launching them
    Just as it's not really the Ukrainians that will be launching ATACMS

    They have nukes. Probably close to a hundred they never returned or sold, now maybe a few dozen left after Russia secured Gostomel airport and the Zaporizia NPP were they kept some of them.

    Nope What a Face

    The best they can do is try and blow up or heavily damage Kursk or Zaporizia NPPs.

    Um Ukraine has the know how from its days in the USSR on how to make the nukes, its just a matter of getting the materials which when you know how isn't hard either

    Acting like nukes are super super hard to make is a wrong understanding in this time you just need to know how and have the production and Ukraine does

    Can you really see the current Russian leadership doing something like that? Even in an event where the West is directly hitting Russia with missiles?
