New 2022 data about China's collapsing birthrates is coming out now that the first half of the year has passed .

In 2021 the birthrate had plummeted to 1.16. In 2022 it might dip below 1, scattered statistics show significant drops in several places.

    Henan 372,000 -9.5% yoy drop.
    Jiaozhou, Shandong -25.5% yoy drop.
    Hukou, Jiangxi -42% yoy drop.

This is what you get when you socially engineer a people to be money hungry, spiritually empty and narcissistic - and construct society in such a way that it prioritizes profit over values and morals.

Never mind zero Covid which apparantly will never stop.

The same people who talk about overpopulation and "not enough resources for everyone" also complain about declining birthrates and "the economy will collapse because less people", I always found that kind of bipolar thinking confusing.

Data about White Americans TFR can be found with a 10 second Google search. You should try it. Small hint: it's higher than bAseD Serbia's TFR. And Russia's for that matter - let alone ethnic Russkies. Nice deflection try though.

Chinese civilization has only lasted in name for thousand of years. Instead there were periods of growth and decline - the latter often culminating in the state's collapse and civil war/(successful) foreign invasions.

China's TFR is tanking harder than the Titanic on a cold night in April 1912. From 1.30 in 2020 to 1.16 in 2021 to (an estimated) ~1 in 2022. CCP leadership is very concerned with these tendencies as they have the potential to directly undercut their economic strategies and the countries social order.

Current course of action: access to abortions has been tightened. Financial incentives for family planning. State sponsored dating. Divorces filings (a growing phenomenon in first tier cities) have been regulated (ie. Number of conditions have been added, like a 1 month cooling off period). Nationalist propaganda emphasizing the importance of family making is getting more common. A tax on childless people will probably soon follow.

    Net result: zero.

The lowest TFR on the planet is South Korea, 0.82 (2021). China is only a couple of years behind them. South East Asian countries like Thailand (1.1) and Latin America countries/territores like Puerto Rico (1) are in the same bracket. Ukraine is at 1.23.

It's a massive crisis that could push civilization off a cliff (one thing that I agree on with Elon Musk). I am personally baffled that (fake) conservatives and libtards in choir pretend that it's no big deal.

So South Korea is in a worse place than China but it is China that has the problem apparently?

After decades of a one child policy China is probably suffering from a lack of females... politically that is not hard to change... culturally having people wanting boys is a bigger problem but when they experience a life with no partners they might turn to alphabet people solutions which will make things much worse.

What cliff... people are not going to stop wanting kids, and if they do the world will survive much better with a much smaller population... less pollution and less waste... the core problem are pricks like Musk who own resources and material far in excess of their needs while billions of people go without the basics... who gives a **** what he says?

The only people who say that are sell out Western politicians that want to destroy the native demographic backbone of their respective countries, whilst simultaneously rooting for unbridled mass migration from third world shitholes to said countries.

Worrying about a lack of people for China or Russia is BS... neither country will run out any time soon.

I have never heard simpletons on this board claim that the 'commencing Chinese Century' was about Taiwan, yet I am aware of the non-stop boasting about Europe/the US going down the drain.

So get your narrative straightened out with the boys.

As an aside, all European nations (aside from Germany) mentioned above have a TFR that's above 1.5. That's not good but light-years ahead of 1.

A TFR of 1 means that the number of births is going to decrease by ~more than half *each generation*. Unless you are cognitively functioning on Garry's level it shouldn't be too hard to grasp the far-reaching societal and economic consequences of such trends - especially since they undercut the core tenets Xi's Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.

And as outlaid above, the bozos over at the Politburo are concerned as hell about it. Maybe they can hire Gaz as an external consultant though - then he can prattle on all he wants about peak oil (LOL, in 2022?!), and how 'quiet streets' outweigh macro-economics and social harmony.

In the case of China births were 17.8 million in 2016. In 2021 the number of births was between 10.62 and 8.873 -  China's own ministries disagree on the figure. The National Bureau of Statistics reported 10.62 million births in 2021. The Ministry of Public Security reported only 8.873 million births in 2021. Even if the current drop in TFR stagnates (unlikely) births will reach 6-7 million in about ~5 years.

Didn't they say the same thing when the Taiwanese started using live fire to scare drones away over the Kinmen Islands?

And then the PLA warned the Taiwanese not do so because there would be consequences?

After which the ROC said that in the next occasion the drone would be downed?

After which the PLA flew more drones over the Kinmen Islands, giving explicit warnings to not attack the drones?

And then the Taiwanese shot down a drone anyway?

After which the PLA immediately came out saying that it was a 'civilian drone'?

Hence the need for countermeasures disappeared - according to their own toothless Wolf Warrior logic at least?

It's hard to take these guys serious.

    RIA News
Media: China sent the most powerful military equipment to the exercises "Vostok-2022"

Global Times: China sent the most powerful military equipment to the Vostok-2022 exercises

BEIJING, September 1 - RIA Novosti. China has sent its most powerful military equipment to the Vostok 2022 exercise, which demonstrates the depth of Russian-Chinese military cooperation and may serve as a deterrent to the malicious actions of some external forces, the Chinese government newspaper Global Times writes, citing analysts who wished to remain anonymous.

On Wednesday, the Xinhua news agency, citing China's command and control task force, said that more than 2,000 Chinese military personnel, more than 300 vehicles, 21 military aircraft and a helicopter will take part in the Vostok-2022 exercises. Earlier, Chinese media reported that this year, for the first time, China is representing three types of troops at once in the Vostok-2022 exercises - land, sea and air.

The publication notes that, in particular, China sent Type 99 tanks, Type-04 infantry fighting vehicles, Z-19 attack helicopters, the Nanchang Type 055 destroyer, and J-10 fighters to the exercises.

Earlier, the Japanese Ministry of Defense reported that the destroyer "Nanchang", the missile frigate "Yancheng" and the complex supply ship "Dongpinghu" of the Chinese Navy proceeded from the East China Sea and through the Tsushima Strait entered the Sea of Japan. "The fact that Nanchang is taking part in Vostok-2022 is known for sure, the other two ships will most likely also participate," the newspaper writes, citing analysts. "All of the mentioned equipment, aircraft and ships are the main armament of China. Especially the destroyer type 055 with a displacement of 10,000 tons, which is considered one of the most powerful warships in the world," the newspaper quoted an anonymous military expert as saying.

The expert noted that the participation of such powerful equipment in the exercises demonstrates the breadth and depth of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the military sphere. "Although the exercises are not aimed at a third party and are not related to the current situation, they serve as a deterrent for uncertainties such as malicious outside actions, hegemony and power politics," the analysts said, noting that military cooperation between China and Russia will contribute to peace. and stability in the region. The strategic exercises "Vostok-2022" are being held from September 1 to 7 at seven training grounds of the Eastern Military District, more than 50,000 people, over 5,000 pieces of weapons and military equipment, including 140 aircraft, 60 warships, and boats will take part in them. and support vessels. From the Russian Armed Forces, military command and control bodies and troops of the Air Defense Forces, part of the forces of the Airborne Forces, long-range and military transport aviation will take part in the exercises.
Joint actions will be worked out by operational control groups, military contingents and observers of the CSTO, SCO and other partner states, in particular, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Armenia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Laos, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Syria and Tajikistan.

According to the Chinese Ministry of Defense, in 2018, about 3,200 Chinese soldiers, as well as more than a thousand units of Chinese military equipment and about 30 military aircraft and helicopters, took part in the Vostok exercises.

Their navy component is really impressive. The Chinese sent all their best ships to Soyuz Vostok in terms of destroyers and cruisers.
The land component includes basically all their most recent kit for expeditionary forces. IFVs and tanks.
The air component is still just J-10s and the Chinese are still keeping the J-20 to themselves. But in prior exercises China sent Su-35 and their own clones.
China also sent the H-6K bomber in prior Russian exercises.

Basically this drill will have all the latest Chinese kit in mainline service. It just won't have the latest and greatest in their air force.

This is a pretty stern warning to the US in the Pacific I think.

You never fail to amaze me.

Statistics, microbiology, geopolitics, quantum mechanics, rocket science, finance, frigging Mongolian throat singing..

You talk as if you have a deep understanding of all and everything.. Whilst in reality you are one of the biggest bozos out there.

Nothing but strawmanning, intentionally misrepresented opinions, whataboutisms and massive logical fallacies.

Never mind getting cracked up over the thought of thousands of young Ukrainians (aka Malo-Russians) dying. Pure misanthropy, scoring very high on the nasty-ness meter.

Seriously read what I wrote and then come back with a response that actually has some content.

You don't surprise me at all... dismiss everything I say (which is my opinion... never said it was the law or that anyone had to agree with me), and then claim I don't understand what you are saying.

Young Ukrainians being killed every day is nothing to do with me, but it has been happening for almost a decade now... the west only gives a shit regarding the last 6 or 7 months of the conflict so what moral standing do they actually have in the matter?

You make some statements and I make some comments... this idea is to discuss, but you just attack my character, perhaps the problem is communication and you are not being clear with what you write, or maybe it is me...

How about you take two weeks break from the forum and think about things and when you come back we can discuss... or not.

I have never heard simpletons on this board claim that the 'commencing Chinese Century' was about Taiwan, yet I am aware of the non-stop boasting about Europe/the US going down the drain.

It is about control... Russia and China don't have any control... the west has decided to run at the cliff and is picking up speed and they are not interested in advice from anyone... obviously getting into more debt and printing more money as a solution is always going to be the best plan... why bother trying anything else because it has been working and it will continue to work... until it doesn't... and when it doesn't work any more the US will have a huge empire it no longer controls because it has burned up all its money and now that is worthless and it owes everyone more than its entire years income and its solution has been to spend more on "defence" and cut social services.

You call us simpletons but how many different ways can that possible end?

Either economic suicide and collapse, or actual nuclear suicide and destruction.

Which would you prefer, or do you have some alternatives... the world will realise how nice the west is and forgive all of its debt the way it does not do to anyone else except as part of a bribe or coercion to get them to do something.

As an aside, all European nations (aside from Germany) mentioned above have a TFR that's above 1.5. That's not good but light-years ahead of 1.

You clearly don't understand what a light year is.

    Again with the insults...

    More insults...

Yeah, of course... because obviously trends in birth rates continue forever in the direction you want them to move... to make you feel better about your own situation...

America is going to run out of money but it is OK because China and Russia are going to run out of people...

You are the one not even making sense...

Maybe 14 days will be long enough for you to realise either you are wasting your time... or you are wasting ours...

You seem to come from the west so perhaps show us your superior civilisation and manners and ethics...

^ HMCS Vancouver. My home city. And the city that the Hawai exec was on house arrest in.

There are some smaller islands around the strait. I'm curious why China hasnt taken any of those. It seems like a good middle step.

Hainan was the last large island they took from the ROC I think. With regards to the other islands in the strait, it is not like they did not try to take them, but they failed.

Back then the ROC still had better air power and navy.

Now don't come at me trying to conjure up stories of how the CIA has fabricated the satellite photos.

Good luck identifying those ships from these low quality photos.

US, Canadian, Chinese media + official spokeschannels from corresponding Armed Forces in unison:

'Canadian warship sailed through the Taiwan Strait'

Partisan shill online: " I don't like this reality hence I am going to try to obfuscate and sow doubts to the point where I look like a total fool.

Here's the deal, Jack. The Cucknadians sailed through the Strait, defying the Toothless Dragon for the 87435th time. If you don't like it I suggest you close the curtains and pray to Guan Yu for some backbone to appear on Xi. Tomorrow is a different day, and maybe things will look different then. Or not, LOL.

I know it hurts but it is what it is.

The Canuks can do all the retarded FONOPS on the Taiwan Strait that they want. The Chinese could easily blast all those ships out of the water with missiles without even putting a single boat at sea.

The Chinese have a whole paraphernalia of anti-shipping missiles from ramjet cruise missiles like the YJ-12, which is their equivalent to the Moskit, to hypersonic cruise missiles like the DF-100, to ballistic missiles like the DF-21D.

And they have the kill chain to detect and target ships at sea. Including their own SAR satellite network and long range drones.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda... It's irrelevanr. It's humiliation number 89246 and none of the beta male violent fantasies matter. They didn't do shit. Again.

However I am glad you acknowledged the fact that the Canadians indeed sailed through the Strait - even though you suddenly don't want to talk about it anymore. That's why the picture is for, in case you were wondering.

Equally where is this... when is this... anyone can put a date on an image... this could be years ago, or it could be a composite made up of a dozen images all collaged together.

    But most critically:

So are you denying that a Canadian warship sailed through the Taiwan Strait yesterday?

Not at all, I am saying Reuters is a bunch of lying censored who sold out decades ago and are tools of western propaganda.

Wouldn't believe them if they said the sky was blue.

Read the story of the boy who cried wolf... trust is earned, but their honesty and integrity was sold...

Now don't come at me trying to conjure up stories of how the CIA has fabricated the satellite photos.

No, because the CIA never lie... fabrications are simply just not their thing... drugs, murder, invasion, prostitution and a range of other criminal activity yes... but trying to spread propaganda... well, yes they do that too... their leaflet campaigns are legendary as their deathsquads and kidnapping teams.

Here's the deal, Jack. The Cucknadians sailed through the Strait, defying the Toothless Dragon for the 87435th time. I know it hurts but it is what it is.

The canadian government are a bunch of pussies that do as they are told by big brother to the south, watching the west dig its own grave is amusing with all their chest thumping and their own propaganda praising themselves while trying to demonise anyone in their way.

Doesn't change anything I said... Reuters is compromised and is not journalism... they are a copy and paste service for western intel.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda... It's irrelevanr. It's humiliation number 89246 and none of the beta male violent fantasies matter. They didn't do shit. Again.

Humiliation seems to be the troll word of the month... is it in your troll booklet of words to use more often?

There is pride and there is stupidity... just look at the reign of Trump... he made all sorts of promises about working with Russia to get things done and improve things for Americans... not being their friends or anything, but working with them to sort out things in teh interests of the US... and the political opposition goaded him with pride and Putins puppet allegations against Trump to steer him into the opposite policy... they used his pride to make him their tool to get what they want.

The west is just desperate for China to let their pride get in the way of common sense... China is smarter than Trump and it burns... just the same as Putin is smarter than the west and that really burns too which is why their trolls always demand Putin step down...

However I am glad you acknowledged the fact that the Canadians indeed sailed through the Strait - even though you suddenly don't want to talk about it anymore. That's why the picture is for, in case you were wondering.

It just requires confirmation from a credible source... western sources do not qualify.

It really is a good cost that China could impose. Take the bloody small islands and stop cucking

A direct confrontation with the west would be damaging and expensive and what could you possibly get out of it?

Give it ten years and the US will likely collapse on its own with 0.001 percent of their population owning 88% of property and assets I am sure the little people will finally do something about it... guns will be banned by then... but when you have such numbers on your side that wont even matter anyway.
