This was the first raid, wasn't it? The clips are edited, I suppose, and they announced that the Kh-101 and Kh-555 launchs during the first raid occurred from Iran and the subsequent ones from Russia.

Taking off from the Mozdok airbase in North Ossetia, the bombers carried out strikes on terrorist positions in the Deir ez-Zor province in Syria.

"The targets are over 2,000 km away from the base, and each mission sortie takes at least 5 hours", said base commander Vladimir Alesenko.

He added that the crews make two sorties every 24 hours, with one mission flight taking place at night.

The airstrikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces have helped the Syrian Army advance on all directions, with the most progress made outside Aleppo and in the mountainous area of Latakia, Major General Alexei Maksimtsev, Commander of the Russia Air Force Unit at the Hmeymim air base, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Airstrikes targeted 731 militant command points in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib, and outside Palmyra. In addition, the air force unit was augmented with eight Su-34 bombers and a squadron of Su-27SM3 jet fighters which were involved in destroying targets in the provinces of Raqqa and Deir er-Zor," Maksimtsev said.

He underscored that surveillance of all types has been conducted in Syria to guarantee hitting all militant targets.

"Advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are used for surveillance, target indication, and monitoring the airstrikes," he underscored.

The general pointed out that during the massive airstrikes, gas and oil producing facilities, command points, ammo depots, training camps and missile-manufacturing factories were destroyed.

"Russian strike aircraft continue to launch massive airstrikes. There are no casualties among the personnel, as well as no losses of equipment."

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov categorically ruled out the possibility of ground action in the next phases of Russia's operation in Syria on Friday.

"Yes, absolutely. There has been no talk, and there is still no talk of a ground operation," Peskov told reporters when asked if Russia was still determined to avoid boots on the ground in Syria.
