MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russia will move its air defense system S-400 Triumf to the Hmeimim air base in Syria, accommodating its air and space group, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Wednesday. "The S-400 air defense missile system will be brought to the Hmeimim base at the decision of the commander-in-chief," he said.
NIZHNI TAGIL, November 25. /TASS/. Russia will employ every single resource available, including the S-300 system, to ensure the safety of flights over Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the media. "The S-300 air defense complex will be moved to our air base in Syria. I do hope that this and other measures that we will take will be enough to make flights safe," he said. "I would like to say that we will take the most serious attitude to what has happened and all of our means will be employed for maintaining security," Putin stated.
Earlier, the Russian defense minister noted that Russia's S-400 Triumf air defense systems will be moved to the Hmeimim air base in Syria.

S-400 missile systems, deployed to Turkey, will be returned to Russia after Russia’s Aerospace Forces’ operation in Syria is over, their sale is not planned, Russian presidential aide on military technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said Wednesday. "There’s no talk about sale. It’s our system that will ensure security; when our units return from there, the system will be returned as well. No one has thought or spoken about any sales. There are no such plans," Kozhin said.
