First Covid-19 deaths in US occurred WEEKS EARLIER than previously thought

People in the US were dying of the novel coronavirus weeks before authorities officially reported the first death linked to the disease, new data published in Santa Clara County, California reveals.
Autopsies performed on two people who died at home on February 6 and February 17 show that their tissues were infected with Covid-19, Santa Clara health authorities said in a statement, adding that another previously unreported death associated with the coronavirus had occurred on March 6.

The news suggests that the virus may have been circulating in the US earlier than previously thought. Santa Clara County Executive Jeff Smith said the fact that several people were apparently infected "right around the beginning of February and late January" – and that two of them had passed away – meant "the virus has been around for a while."

According to Mercury News, both of the fatal cases are believed to have originated in the community and were not associated with foreign travel. This also means that community transmission in America had started well before the first such case was officially reported on February 26.

See now that is something I don't get... Russia has not been in a position to thrash the west or take it on face to face... its position means it doesn't have the ability to survive a one on one confrontation... it is not like Russia is sitting there with a machine gun and everyone else has a knife.... effectively it is a small room and Russia has a grenade... when you have a grenade in a small room there is no way to use it to kill everyone else but to survive yourself, so you don't start any fights. They wont start a fight because they see the grenade and know if they scare or trick you in to pulling that pin and releasing that lever that everyone dies, but they have a hand gun and a rifle and they have good hands in the game of Poker... it is in their interests for things to continue the way they are... you have to be the bad guy because otherwise the other players wont do as you tell them and they haven't got any guns... just money.

Russia came out of the Ukrainian business the best possible way they could.... they got Sevastopol, and the Crimea... which is what they wanted. In Syria Russia has proved itself to be vastly superior to any potential western ally for local countries... so despite western occupation and influence Syria and Iraq and Iran and Afghanistan and Egypt and Libya and Iran are looking to Russia for weapons and negotiations with their problem factions like Kurds and Taleban etc etc respectively. They are certainly not looking to the US to solve their problems and pretty much want the US to leave...

Actually I just realised... what the Cubans should do is dig a large area of land right next to the Guantanimo base that is up wind from the base normally... ie the side the prevailing wind blows through the base from and start filling that piece of land with garbage... any crap collected from their beaches and garbage from all their major cities could be dumped there... piling higher and higher... it wont cost anything and likely will solve a few of their problems as well...
