Hey Mods, we have rule here against spamming, right?
Yes, there are rules against spamming.
As you can see ultimatewarrior Tai Hai Chen has been dropping one liners in separate posts (4 in a row just above this comment alone)
Many posters on this thread have had short posts with a comment or two... why single out this member?
He has posted comments and responded to other questions or comments from other members.
He is not being rude or abusive.
So how about some bans? Accepting new users was blocked for months supposedly to protect the forum but this clown is allowed to just do his usual crap?
Do you have any actual evidence that this person is not who he says he is?
Did you think opening up membership would only let in members you approve of?
He is more damaging to this forum that any imaginary hypothetical "infiltrator" and you are letting him ride this place like a 2$ whore while others are forced to follow the rules
What damage is he doing? What rules are being broken?
He is on topic and expressing an opinion.
What gives?
I will have a word with him about excessive single line posts, but it is certainly not something I would consider banning anyone for...
@Tai hai Chen,
As you can see I have gotten a complaint about excessive single line posts from you on this thread.
It is not against the rules, but would ask that you post fewer posts with more content.
If you post a message and then think there is something else you want to add or say, instead of creating a new message that you consider editing your existing post and adding it to the message you already posted.
Note ironically you wont be banned for doing this, but now that you have been instructed to stop flooding the forum, you can get a ban for ignoring a Mod.
I realise this topic is important to you and chatting about it is the purpose of the forum, but perhaps take your time and post to reply to more than one comment and take the time to add your thoughts.
As John mentions in the first post of this thread also be careful not to repost entire posts just to reply to one comment... especially if they include lots of text and photos and videos.
As an example I am talking to you by simply putting the @ symbol and your username in a thread you are clearly reading and posting in... rather than posting all your posts in this thread...
