In terms of horse trading though I would think marsh and swamp land would be easier for Poland to trade for areas of Ukraine they think belong to them...

If they were going to attack HATO countries , why just take a tiny bit and leave the rest to complain and bitch and moan and eventually try to take it back?

Low and low flying drones will be harder to detect by radar. They will be able to maneuver more easily in complex terrain, such as urban areas, mountains or valleys. This will allow them to reach targets that are otherwise inaccessible or difficult to hit by conventional weapons.

I doubt it has the altitude and definitely not the speed of the Mig-31. Which means the range of Kinzhal would be reduced. There is a project to equip MIG 31 with FBW controls, perhaps to turn it into a drone. Once its FBW its really not that hard.

They won't be attacking they will go there to "defend" and then not leave. The USA play book.

    Naaah.
The whole narrative is stupid, that is my point. Talking heads function is to talk, no matter how dumb. Sometimes the level of absurd produced at the Russian TV equals Ukro one. Some cretino jumped out with "Suwalki Gap" because it is not a new idea. It was brought to light in the mid 90s, so the gu is only 30 years behind with his phantasmagoria.

You really don't get it, do you? scratch dunno
Kinzhal needs a high altitude and high speed release to work. Even with Tu-22M, it's parameters are already compromised, as the start envelope is much below the MiG-31s. Released from subsonic/transonic drone and low altitude, possesses perfectly zero value and is a waste of a good weapon.

Russia is ready to rejoin the grain deal brokered by the UN and Türkiye, but only on the condition that Western nations and Ukraine meet their long-standing obligations, Moscow’s deputy permanent representative to the UN said on Friday.

Speaking at a UN Security Council briefing on the Black Sea Initiative, Dmitry Polyansky noted that Russia’s decision to withdraw from the pact, which sought to unblock agricultural exports, “should not have come as a surprise to anyone” given that nothing has been done to address Moscow’s grievances.

The diplomat stressed that Russia recognizes the importance of the grain deal for global food supplies and is “ready to consider returning to it, but only… if all the previously agreed principles of Russia’s participation in this deal are fully taken on board and… implemented without exception.”

Listing Russia’s conditions, Polyansky insisted that sanctions on the country’s grain and fertilizer exports to global markets should be lifted “in practical terms rather than just in words” while all obstacles to Russian financial institutions involved in the sector must also be removed, including their reconnection to the SWIFT payment system.

Russia should once again enjoy an uninterrupted supply of spare parts and components for agricultural machinery, the diplomat said, adding that all issues related to vessel freight and insurance of Russian food exports must also be resolved.

Another requirement, Polyansky continued, is that there should be no impediments to expanding Russian exports of fertilizer materials, including the restoration of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline, which was seriously damaged last month. Moscow and Kiev have traded accusations as to who was to blame for the incident.

In addition, all Russian assets related to the agricultural sector must be released.

And as a seventh and final condition, the grain deal itself “must recover its initial humanitarian nature” and serve to alleviate food issues in developing countries rather than making rich countries even richer.

Moscow withdrew from the grain deal on Monday, with Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov describing the arrangement as a “one-sided game” and noting that none of Russia’s long-standing demands had been met.

Following the move, the Russian Defense Ministry said any ships sailing to Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea would be “considered potential carriers of military cargo.” In response, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry accused Moscow of turning the Black Sea into a “danger zone,” issuing a similar warning to all vessels in the area bound for Russia.

Wonder which one would Russkie use in need, hmm hmm hmm ...
Start in Estonia and move on from there.

Released from subsonic/transonic drone and low altitude
The S-70 will use the same hypersonic missile as the Su-57 = the follow-on to the Kh-31.
Will be small enough to fit inside the weapons bay, good range and speed even from low altitude.

Russia is ready to rejoin the grain deal
Russian government knows that these conditions will never be met.

Kinda hard for erdogan to make this deal work. Authorizing sweden is a short term act. Delivering F-16s is a medium term process and eu memebership is a forever fantasy. Only the imf loan can be secured.

More is to come as long as Russia is handling the traitors with kid gloves. In Putin's Russia, traitors are treated like petty criminals, and so the traitors aren't afraid of being traitors. And If you're a popular+privileged person like Prigozhin, then you can get away with conducting an actual military coup inside Russia at a time when it's fighting an existential war. What message does it send to the enemies and traitors?

For whatever strange reasons, Russia has also gone full tradcuckservatism. Women in Russia receive less punishment than men and are less likely to be imprisoned for the same crime because they have a vagina. As a result, SBU is recruiting more females for high profile targets in Russia. Russians were once proud commies, but now they are tradcucks. It's quite a leap from one extreme end to another.

In China, all traitors face the firing squad regardless of gender, financial privilege, or political status. Prigozhin wouldn't be alive to see the next day in China if he were to openly denounce the CCP, let alone a military coup.

Will be a very useful missile. The stealth of the S-70 aircraft will outweigh its speed drawback, giving it a great advantage as a weapon.
