I don't buy it. Ukrainians are receiving tens of guided bombs daily. Russians are dug in defensive positions. Putin trying to make ukro beleive they have some success to send more men and make them killed.

Russian strategy is still counting on dumb ukro political decisions to keep sending more men on the front to be killed to deplete ukro population and just take over the labds of ukraine. Very dirty war.

How do you think, ammo depots, and factories of MIC are burning all over Urope because they had dangerous smoking habits?
Riots and transfer of power in most of Sahal are because those dark skinned gents woke up in the morning, and decided to kick their Frog masters? And figured out the plan overnight?
Most of the planet supports Russia because Putin is jumping on the stage like a headless chicken, making a shitshow?

You are facing one of the greatest global shifts of power centers in the entire history of humankind.
With Russia being clearly one of the middlemen.
And winning that BIG. Really big.
How do you think, why is Micron shitting his pants, and doing stupid things on a scale he can afford - irrelevant to the matter?
    Urope is done.
It is not only France that is just losing tens of billions of euro they usually sucked out of Africa.
It is German industry that is dying.
    All of it.
Chemical is already gone. Metallurgy is already gone. Now it is time for automotive.Only this year, Chinese will introduce no less than five brands, all with a range of vehicles. And all priced 40% less expensive rather than European brands.
My friend operates a Chinese excavator for years, tons of smaller construction companies could afford small versatile Chinese equipment, as you can have a working excavator with 1 tone weight for less than 9k euro.
Automotive business is about 2% of the entire German manpower, but if you add the cooperation - it jumps up to 7%. Most of the patents, and 40% of the core investments were being made by it.
Take it out, and what will be left?
I have already seen a massive promotional campaign of Germany as a ... holiday destination.

If there will be no principal shift of power in Europe, with people with alternative views of the EU development, the whole project will die in the front of our eyes.

And east of that, Putin just sits and watches, doing nothing.
    Geee, seriously?

If you find enough patience to dig some shit that is coming out of our regular doomers, you will find out that some of them are sociopaths.
In both social and medical terms.

Ukrainians have nobody to blame for that but themselves and their shitty leadership, Russia tried to solve the Ukraine issue peacefully on several occasions since 2014, and all they got for their troubles is rejection, ridicule and an emboldened Ukraine on the verge of genociding ethnic Russians in the Donbass for their NATO masters. They chose, willingly or otherwise, to fight Russia instead of their Jewish-led (ironically) Nazi regime.

To me it sounds like a matter of months, sometime this summer TBH, but you are right, maybe Putin is trying to calm down NATO so when the collapse happens they are in no position to react.

Russias needs to build a large and simple ship with nuclear power. This ship will carry a few hundred nuclear tipped Tsirkons and a significant number of antiship and SAMs. This ship will be parked in international waters of the coast of Virginia the equal distance from any US nukes to Moscow. It will be visible and clear. Able to take out DC in a few minutes.

Yes you need a show. Anyway the US will have to come to terms with the multi-polar world. Perhaps a nice firm grip on their balls will make them realize it a bit quicker.

Nah, Putin is deliberately low-balling the exchange rate as he likely doesn't want his people to appreciate the true degree of slaughter being perpertrated on the Ukrop.  Even though they are enemies, many still consider Ukrainians to be a "brotherly people" ( Suspect ) and recognition of the carnage might result in some sympathy emerging... and we simply WILL NOT have that....

In reality the exchange is probably between 10-20x and will only increase as the Ukrop burn thru what is left of their experienced troops and are forced to throw green recruits in the red maw of the meat grinder.

It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of rat bstardz.  Keep that grinder revving at max.  Let it do its work until the enemy finally sees sense and unconditionally capitulates.

Bruh......10x10k (assuming the Russians aren't lying about their kia because you can fanboy all you want but hard to say if they are or aren't).   Regardless that would be 100k a month and that's frankly BS if the Russians where killing that many men every month Ukraine would have run out of men by now, hell even the 50k a month is pure BS.

Not that I doubt they could get such numbers but the way they are operating right now and the fact they roughly the same amount of men if not less which is more realistic means they do not have the capacity for that

    Learn math man

I love how people here buy such obvious BS simply because someone in Russia says it.

In the mean time the US and some of their "friends" just recognized Taiwan as an independent country...China will have to stiffen its back quite a bit sooner or later, unless they are prepared to get used to some "freedom fighters" in Hong Kong and in the Uyghurs country side. China is not modernizing its military at an unprecedented pace for nothing.

These are all socialist brothers from the past - and yes it is paying off for Russia. However the real issue is Europe and the US. Not too many of those (from the west) made the trip to the USSR to get a proper education. In fact they were indoctrinated with fear and hatred for the red danger that will come and rape their woman. It is embedded in their minds that Putin is an evil communist ready to take away their TV channels.

All in all, I trust Putin and his people way more than the chickenshit doomers, troll farm employees and unhinged, bored people commenting here as far as the best way to achieve results in the SMO.

By the time Russia finishes moving the border 300km West the "Ukrainians" will be armed with 3000km missiles.

You're not going to avoid this. However you try to reason you'll always end up at the same conclusion. That the West is not about to suddenly stop escalating now, after 2 years of doing just that. And there aren't many escalations left to go.

The West is on the verge of losing it all. Centuries of hegemony at an end. ALAMO mentions below the massive geopolitical shift that's taking place. Yeah and those are usually marked by massive wars. Threatened elites don't tend to go quietly. I don't believe they're outright suicidal, but they do have everything to lose, and so they're playing chicken with Russia. As they're playing chicken with Iran and with China. And if you back down then they've won and will be able to set the terms of any 'freeze' or 'ceasefire' or whatever, which is what will promptly be insisted upon.

Russia could just sit back and relax and within 15-20 years Western hegemony would have been history anyway

Only of course Washington and Brussels aren't fools and realized that, and so they decided to be 'proactive'. Provoke a Russian invasion, collapse Russia, install a friendly regime there, and then surround China..

And it's the same situation now. Russia is not being given the option of economically growing, leisurely wineing and dining all these prospective BRICS nations while carrying on the attrition campaign in the Ukraine to its fruition. There's an intruder to the party who is trying to spike the punch bowl. Everything you've said is correct and the enemy has realized that too and that's why they're upping the ante. And they will keep upping it.

50k Ukr casualties (both dead and wounded) not Ukr KIA is probably what Putin meant

I haven't heard his words but if he claimed that this is only x5 the Russian figure then yes this sounds incredibly weird, and a frankly needless propaganda gift of Putin to Western and Ukrainian war propaganda and assorted NAFO trolls.

Which of the West's enemies needs Russian weapons?, by Evgeny Pozdnyakov for VZGLYAD. 06.07.2024.

Experts have identified the enemies of the West to whom Russia could transfer long-range weapons.

Russia has allowed the possibility of supplying long-range weapons to those states that are in conflict with Western countries. According to experts, such a measure could be an effective response to Western supplies of weapons of a similar class to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What countries are we talking about?

Moscow will consider options for responding to NATO countries’ permission to fire long-range weapons at Russia. Vladimir Putin stated this during a meeting with heads of news agencies on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) . The head of state also named possible measures that the Russian Federation will take as a response to the actions of NATO countries.

“If someone considers it possible to supply such weapons to a combat zone to strike our territory and create problems for us, then why do we not have the right to supply our weapons of the same class to those regions of the world where strikes will be made on sensitive targets those countries that do this to Russia?” – the Kremlin’s official website quotes the president.

Putin admitted that Moscow's response could be symmetrical. “We reserve the right to act in a similar manner. But, in general, this is the path to very serious problems,” he noted. Press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov added that this statement “was considered” by the leadership of Western states. In particular, this is indicated by the wide dissemination of the Russian leader’s words in the American and European press.

“We thought with hope in many places. In the Middle East, it seems, they are especially careful,” notes Fyodor Lukyanov, editor-in-chief of the magazine “Russia in Global Affairs”, scientific director of the Valdai International Palace of Culture, in his Telegram channel . Experts interviewed by the VZGLYAD newspaper share a similar point of view. In their opinion, each of the leading NATO countries in the region has its own vulnerable points.

    USA

“The states have a colossal number of military bases located around the world. Therefore, we need targeted work with those actors who are trying to resist Washington’s hegemony. The first that comes to mind is the Middle East, where the presence of the American military is accompanied by big problems,” said Vadim Kozyulin, a military expert, head of the IAMP Center at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

In particular, Russia can increase the supply of long-range weapons to Syria, and on completely legal grounds. At the same time, the Americans are in the republic in the role of occupation forces, pumping energy resources out of the oil-bearing regions of the Syrian Arab Republic. Therefore, the impact on their military bases and infrastructure seems most logical.

“In addition, the Houthis are active in the region. They are a largely independent formation, capable of striking a large number of objects and targets, among which are often US bases and equipment,” the interlocutor clarifies.

The scheme for supporting anti-American forces in Iraq and a number of other states where US military installations are located also looks promising. By the way, in recent months, amid the escalation of the conflict in Gaza, these facilities have often come under fire, but they can also be scaled up.

At the same time, the Middle East region can become only part of the overall efforts in this direction. For example, on Thursday evening it became known that a group of Russian Navy ships consisting of four vessels had been sent to the Caribbean. We are talking about the frigate "Admiral Gorshkov", the nuclear submarine "Kazan", the tanker "Akademik Pashin" and the rescue tug "Nikolai Chiker", which will call at Havana (Cuba), TASS reports.

“None of the ships carry nuclear weapons, so their stay in our country does not pose a threat to the region,” the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba said in a statement. However, the Associated Press has already called this visit a “show of force” on the part of Moscow and admitted that in the future ships will call at the ports of Venezuela.

    Britannia

“Due to its island position, Britain is extremely dependent on maritime trade routes. Therefore, to influence it, Russia can try to increase cooperation with those players who want to be active in the Red Sea areas. Any unrest that begins in the region can slow down the delivery of important goods, which will seriously affect the well-being of Britain,” Kozyulin emphasizes.

In addition, in this matter, not only the supply of long-range weapons is important, but also up-to-date data for target designation. In other words, Russia’s partners can be informed that such and such a ship will pass along a certain route at such and such a time, after which the local military will launch a targeted strike on it. As French politicians say in such cases, “this is not an escalation of the conflict.”

“London can also be influenced by non-military strikes. For example, certain forces could affect transatlantic cables in neutral waters, thereby creating problems not only for Britain, but also for Europe,” adds Vadim Trukhachev, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Foreign Policy at the Russian State University for the Humanities.

Support for the separatists in the United Kingdom will also be extremely sensitive, says British scholar Vasily Egorov. “In this regard, Northern Ireland looks extremely promising. There are still many opponents of London here who are ready to fight against its power by any means,” the expert believes.

“The factor of the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) cannot be underestimated. Argentina still hopes to one day “grab” these territories back. With our support it is much easier to do this,” he emphasizes. Another area of work could be indirect support for forces involved in transporting migrants from France to Britain.

“If they get additional boats from somewhere, the number of people moving to the islands could increase significantly. At the same time, Paris will not oppose it. On the contrary, getting rid of them is solely in his interests,” Egorov believes.

    France

“Paris is going through an extremely difficult period, which is characterized by attempts to maintain its influence in West Africa . Of course, the residents of this region are determined to seriously fight for their own sovereignty. Russia can step up support for their aspirations, creating new problems for France on the continent,” Kozyulin emphasizes.

Trukhachev, in turn, draws attention to the problems of separatism and disputed overseas territories. “ New Caledonia has recently made itself known loudly . When Azerbaijan tries to stir up the situation there, this is not such a serious problem for Paris, but it can always be aggravated. There are other independence movements, for example in Polynesia and Corsica. It is also worth supplying weapons to African countries leaving the sphere of influence of the Fifth Republic,” he emphasizes.

    Germany and other countries

If we talk about Germany, then the easiest way to influence it is with economic instruments, exerting pressure through the energy market. As a result, this could exacerbate existing problems in the automotive and chemical industries, which are extremely dependent on cheap gas supplies. Germany is also at risk due to migration problems.

“But it’s important not to get hung up on Russia’s main opponents. It is necessary to exert a comprehensive influence on the West. Thus, the Netherlands owns the oil-rich Antilles in the Caribbean. This resource is subsequently used to produce fuel for the APU. There are quite influential separatist associations in the region. In addition, our friendly Venezuela is nearby, through which we can also build up pressure. And there are plenty of such examples all over the world,” Trukhachev sums up.

That's true but somehow the Biden administration hasn't ruled out "putting boots" in Taiwan.
They also continue to provide Taiwan with arms despite technically acknowledging that the PRC is the legitimate government of the brake away island nation.

Just imagine if the PRC was selling arms to the Hawaiians to gain back their independence, but they continue to preach/pretend that Hawaii was governed by the US State Department Laughing

The western interest groups in the industrial military sector , damage their interests and their military involvement and the war will end . They are human , they have bodies , they have factories , homes , business , Bank accounts , Villas , Boats , stock exchanges , private planes , Golf courses , luxury Cars . Between black and white , there are forty shades of grey . It is not a matter of either a war of words or a nuclear strike . One simple step may be distributing leaflets in the West , to encourage for peace and against MIC wars . The longest journey starts with the first step ! As the saying goes "  Big stone is a sign of not hitting . " ( Persian proverb ) .

only a few of them for patrolling & defending their bases on the Black Sea coast won't hurt the rest of the fleet IMO.

As with drones I think it makes more sense to split the roles and have recon platforms with optics and radar looking for threats and targets and interceptors able to be called upon to deal with threats and targets as they are detected, which I hope they are already doing.

The Il-38 May has a reasonably sophisticated array of sensors and equipment and can remain on station for long periods and is already integrated into their navy in regards to communication and sensors etc etc. They also have coastal helicopters and other platforms they can use for the interceptor role... soon to include cheaper lighter platforms like the Ka-226 which could be fitted out with all sorts of weapons and equipment for dealing with drones... being modular the entire module it carries could be all gun pods and rocket pods and fuel tanks to extend flight endurance.

Actual patrol aircraft come in a wide variety of versions including the An-72P which carries rocket and gun pods in forward firing mounts and can drop FAB-100 bombs out the rear ramp, though normally those are flare bombs used for optics and photography of targets in low light conditions normally.

There were plans for Patrol versions of the Il-114 as well.

None of these were intended to be anything like AC-130 type gunships.

Most of the planet supports Russia because Putin is jumping on the stage like a headless chicken, making a shitshow?

The world sees an intelligent sensible leader of a superpower who has not once called the next 1,000 years the Russian millenium, and has talked about the need for international law to apply to every country... the strong and powerful and the weak and small, and that instead of clawing your way to the top and then using those claws to keep everyone below you so they keep lifting you up, to offer a hand to help others and let them help you so we can all grow and develop and live a decent lifestyle without having to work ourselves into an early grave. Russia isn't damaged by China growing and developing and China is not damaged by Russia growing and developing. The development of both countries is something the west has been working very hard to undermine because they have a master slave mentality and there is only one master in their eyes... the US of A.

Well the rest of the world does not like that western model of worshiping the US culture... especially the tolerance model they are heading towards where all sorts of deviance is tolerated but criticism or just disagreeing is not tolerated.

I have no problems with most of them... you can't help the way you feel, and you certainly can't choose who you love, but demanding everyone celebrate it and treat it as normal is not right as far as I am concerned. Especially when there are victims like suggesting child molesters are just being persecuted for their feelings... adults having relationships with children is not OK, I don't care if your culture says it is OK or not.

You are facing one of the greatest global shifts of power centers in the entire history of humankind.
With Russia being clearly one of the middlemen.

They are doing it because the west gave them no other choice, and if it succeeds... when it succeeds, then we all win.... including the west but they wont understand that for a while... the west was heading in the wrong direction.

To me it sounds like a matter of months, sometime this summer TBH, but you are right, maybe Putin is trying to calm down NATO so when the collapse happens they are in no position to react.

Well to coin a phrase... with their electrical grid in such a state and importing electricity from Europe... gas contracts end in December and... winter is coming... do you think Ukraine will last one winter with no power?

Gas reserves can be destroyed... they were storing gas for Europe on the super cheap, but how much electricity will Europe have to spare to pump into Ukraine this winter when European butts are feeling the chill?

Russias needs to build a large and simple ship with nuclear power. This ship will carry a few hundred nuclear tipped Tsirkons and a significant number of antiship and SAMs. This ship will be parked in international waters of the coast of Virginia the equal distance from any US nukes to Moscow. It will be visible and clear. Able to take out DC in a few minutes.

Russia has trucks that carry ICBMs. Take off one of the rocket stages and fit a bigger warhead section with double or triple the normal warheads and base it in Cuba or Venezuela... the INF treaty is gone... the US is basing intermediate range ground launched missiles in Asia so Russia is free to develop all sorts of intermediate range missiles anywhere they please.

The really fun part is that with scramjet technology they can make scramjet powered cruise missiles that are 5 times lighter than the solid and liquid fuelled ballistic missiles, but with the same range and they will fly at altitudes and speeds that make them rather safe from enemy air defence systems... flying at mach 10 plus and being able to manouver... they will be rather smaller and lighter and cheaper than rocket powered strategic weapons and they wont count as strategic nuclear weapons because they are shorter ranged than that. But from Cuba and Venezuela they could probably reach any US city perhaps except for Hawaii.

Yes you need a show. Anyway the US will have to come to terms with the multi-polar world. Perhaps a nice firm grip on their balls will make them realize it a bit quicker.

A TOPOL-M truck in Venezuela would wake them up a bit... Russia can claim it is a START-1 launch vehicle for launching new Satellites from Venezuelan and Cuban territory in conjunction with Venezuelan and Cuban universities... science experiments....

    I oppose.
Take a look at the Chinese.
Do they make a shows, around the world?

But the Chinese are not fighting the US in Taiwan with the US escalating things out of hand.

You are doing it in quiet.
    And long term.

When they say a show, I suspect they don't mean Shock and Awe US bullshit stupidity...

In reality the exchange is probably between 10-20x and will only increase as the Ukrop burn thru what is left of their experienced troops and are forced to throw green recruits in the red maw of the meat grinder.

Talk of mercs keeps popping up and I suspect a bit of money from the recent money laundering exercise included cash to buy mercenaries from the poor regions of the planet to fight for Zelensky.

That will create its own problems I suspect with rival groups more interested in looting and raping than actual fighting... and probably also fighting rival groups in the team they operate in... plus it wont change that they are on the losing side with no air support and no artillery worth a damn... and those Russians know what they are doing and how to get it done.

By the time Russia finishes moving the border 300km West the "Ukrainians" will be armed with 3000km missiles.

They will get them in low numbers and the first ones might be successful but I doubt it... most of the long range missiles the west have are what the Russian air defences were designed to engage and most will be shot down... and pretty quickly they will be traced and storage warehouses will be taken out too.

Only of course Washington and Brussels aren't fools and realized that, and so they decided to be 'proactive'. Provoke a Russian invasion, collapse Russia, install a friendly regime there, and then surround China..

The west isn't defending itself... it is the alpha predator on the planet. And they are proving to be too old and weak for the top job... Russia and China and India don't want that job, but with BRICS the role can be taken by all countries...

Everything you've said is correct and the enemy has realized that too and that's why they're upping the ante. And they will keep upping it.

They don't understand anything except threats. They are bullies and don't know how to be civilised and respectful... but by now I doubt Putin or Xi or Modi would believe them if they pretended they were to want to change.

Russian Warships Steam For Caribbean As Ukraine Tensions Go Global, by Tyler Durden for ZeroHedge. 06.07.2024.

In a show of force perhaps prompted by President Biden's authorization of Ukrainian strikes inside Russia using US weapons, a group of Russian warships is en route to the Caribbean, a senior US official has told McClatchy and the Miami Herald. White House officials alerted members of Congress to the Russian move on Wednesday.

The deployment signals Russia's capacity to operate globally while still fully engaged its third year of war in Ukraine. “This is about Russia showing they are still capable of some level of naval power projection,” the official said. “We should expect more of this activity going forward.” In March, Ukraine claimed it had either sunk or disabled a full third of Russia's ships in the Black Sea.

CBS News reports that long-range Russian bombers will rendezvous with the ships for combined naval and air maneuvers. Such exercises are not without precedent: Russia conducted similar combined-arms Caribbean maneuvers in 2019, and had a streak of sending ships into the Western Hemisphere at least annually from 2013 to 2020. Following the summer exercises, Russia is expected to engage in a worldwide naval exercise this fall, sources tell CBS.

The Pentagon is tracking a "handful" of ships and support craft that are expected to reach Caribbean waters in the upcoming weeks. US analysts speculate that the flotilla will make port calls in both Cuba and Venezuela. Cuba's likely relishes the opportunity to host the Russian warships: Last year's docking of a US nuclear submarine at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base ruffled feathers in Havana, with the Cuban government calling it a "provocative escalation."

"Clearly, [the Russians] are unhappy — needless to say — with our support for Ukraine and support for our NATO allies,” the official said. Last week, the Biden administration quietly gave Ukraine the green light to use US weapons to strike targets inside Russia. That marked a major policy reversal, as such strikes had previously been barred as too escalatory.

Ukraine has apparently wasted little time in exercising its new freedom, as images circulated on social media that appeared to show burning S-300 and S-400 mobile surface-to-air missile systems inside Russian territory:

On Wednesday, Russian President Putin said he was considering some kind of retaliation-in-kind:

If they consider it possible to deliver such weapons to the combat zone to launch strikes on our territory and create problems for us, why don’t we have the right to supply weapons of the same type to some regions of the world where they can be used to launch strikes on sensitive facilities of the countries that do it to Russia?...We will think about it."

Expect America's warmongers to shriek at Russia's upcoming Caribbean exercises -- despite the fact that US military forces routinely buzz by the territorial waters and airspace of Russia, China and many other countries around the world.

Summary of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on the progress of the special military operation (for the period from June 1 to June 7, 2024)

From June 1 to June 7 this year, in response to attempts by the Kiev regime to damage Russian energy facilities, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out 27 group strikes with precision weapons of land, air and sea bases, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles, during which energy facilities that provided the work of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine were hit.
