I can't remember any Soviet missile of similar shape.
The only other missile of that profile would be Moskit (SS-N-22 Sunburn).

But in both cases, the missile lacks steering wigs that should be there.
3M8 nose subcaliber part is shorter, too.
Weirdo I would say.

No point storing stuff forever and as their operational launchers are replaced with UKSK launchers using them up would free up space in storage for newer more capable smaller lighter faster systems that are probably more likely to get through.

What is the most hilarious part of the whole story is the fact, that it is just one more failed tik tok effort by the ukrs.
They have not succeded in any operation since the beginning of the conflict.
Every single one - even the Charkov "offensive" - aligned perfectly well with the Russkie strategy of bleeding them white.
Every gain they achieved cost them thousands of SPAMed ukrowehrmacht and effects in closing the Russkie objectives, at low cost.
Yet it teaches nothing to our doomers, zoo exhibits, and cockroaches who just wait for a single piece of crap to crawl out
Ukro strategy for this war is the biggest failure of the whole conflict, because Russkie did the perfect opposite to the scenario NATO planners put on the ukro shoulders.
Nothing worked as they planned.
This - and nothing else - is a fiasco and catastrophe.

And even better this is the military planning... HATO is inept... but the west is no better when it comes to Political or Economic strategies... their political failures and sounding around the world and their economic attempts to make the Russian economy scream have been horrible failures too... in fact their own economies have suffered while for want of a better term the Russian economy is booming... and not from ATACMS and Storm Shadows.

There was some rumor this week, that ukrs have only 400 pcs of all the armored vehicles left.
Not sure the context now, if they are talking about western supplied or all together.
Edit : who else can make your day happier, if not The Times?
Regarding Zitadel 2.0, here is starts to reveal

NOTE: reports out of Ukraine suggests they struggle to recruit 10,000 new service people a month, mostly conscripted. Meanwhile Russia is able to recruit around 30,000 per month, all volunteers. These imbalance cannot continue indefinitely, hence the main point of the Russian military strategy of attrition. Same situation exists with regards to military hardware.

It could be the Moskit or the Krug - or perhaps a Kh-31 or the S-200?

A powerful explosion and fire occurred at a factory of one of the largest suppliers of weapons to Ukraine, which had previously been "targeted by Russian saboteurs."
The German explosives plant owned by Diehl Defence suffered significant damage due to the explosion, according to Bild.
"The explosion occurred at the explosives manufacturer's facility in Troisdorf (North Rhine-Westphalia). Several employees were seriously injured, with two being hospitalized.
Diehl Defence, a major defense company, is one of the largest suppliers of weapons to the Kyiv regime. In May, there were already explosions at a metallurgical plant owned by the same company, which Berlin suspects were the work of Russian saboteurs."

Question is, how many Challenger tanks does UK have left? And I don't seem to recall if they had any C1's seats to Ukraine and it's knly been the much newer but much more expensive C2's. And those failed miserably.

Good Morning from #Germany where the once-mighty industrial giant ThyssenKrupp is now trading on the stock exchange at no value. The company's shares reflect a negative enterprise value due to a mix of poor management and the challenges of operating in Germany.

Best strategy would have been to build a defensive line behind the Dnjepr and retreat all other forces to Lviv.Ukro strategy for this war is the biggest failure of the whole conflict, because Russkie did the perfect opposite to the scenario NATO planners put on the ukro shoulders.

Well they didn't have enormous numbers of them in the first place, but this operation behind enemy lines with very small groups of men is probably not great in terms of maintenance and support and having so many different western vehicles with non compatible parts and instructions on how to keep these vehicles running... not to mention the supply issues of keeping a rather large diesel or gas turbine in the case of the Abrams running, I am surprised they still have tanks in operation anywhere.
Driving around in a 60-70 ton tank uses a lot of fuel and draws attention to your position. A private car on the other hand uses a fraction of the fuel and are abundant on the battlefield and are less likely to draw attention of those hunting you down.
