2) shot down American and NATO reconnessaince UAV over the black sea.

The targetting assets in the Black Sea are indeed ripe for taking out. But the moment has come for US to suffer direct retaliation. Russia stating that the targets had been set by US and forcing themselves to respond in kind implies an escalation is due if US does not radically change course. Retaliating against 404 will come but it does not bring much, the regime knows already what kind of future awaits them.

ISIS again shoots at civilians and tries to destabilize Russia

Then you have Crimea beach attacks

To properly retaliate the right way , real actors that can hurt the US should be armed and given C4ISR to do so

According to the latest data, at least two militants have been eliminated in Dagestan. Also, two men were detained on the Makhachkala beach - according to preliminary information, they may be associated with the attackers.

Currently, five police officers are known to be dead and nine more injured. The media will report the death of the rector of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, Archpriest Nikolai Kotelnikov, and the temple guard. The number of victims increased to 23 people.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article of a terrorist act.

It’s time to arm the LNA, SAA, PMF and anyone else fighting US

Just man the systems and say

“Syria/Iraq/Libya have the right to defend themselves”

“Russia is not involved in strikes on US troops”

And let Russian troops man the systems like NATO does

They can’t prove anything and it would be exactly was NATO is doing


Horizontal escalation is acceptable at this point in time and should be carried out

Otherwise the open hunt on Russians will just keep escalating

Yes, Russia under Putin is all talk, all posturing, but no action.

Russia's enemies know this. This is why they do what they do.

They are main logistical hubs for weapons and ammunition delivery to Ukraine. Donated planes are, very likely, already on their airports. 
Even if de jure they're not in a state of war with Russia, de facto situation on the ground is self-explanatory. 
This "special operation" is much bigger than even Russo-Ukrainian war for a while now.  
Obviously, there's always possibility that there are reasons retaliation against NATO didn't occur:
-country is militarily not ready for this escalation 
- Putin is not the right person for the job.

He still refuses to take out Ukrainian leadership. He still refuses to retaliate directly against the West.

What good does Putin think waiting will do for Russia? That the West will give up after doing some damage to Russia? That the West will let Russia be?
